Agreed. Conservatives follow the liberal media line and pick a RINO because they're told only an "inclusive" candidate can win. Thus, the elimination of strong conservatives like Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy because - quelle surprise the liberal media tells conservatives they can't win!

Hunter showed up with 8 supporters there (pre-poll). he gained 5 more (post poll). Huckabee had hundreds of supporters there. He took the other hundred from Fred, Mitt, etc, not Hunter.

The “right candidate” is hardly, if ever, the front runner. The media wouldn’t stand for it.

And the “best candidate” is, not surprisingly, never in the race. Our system is designed to scare the best of America away.

Hunter should be doing far better than the Huckster, but he’s not. Why is that ?

Hunter has some momentum now, as does Huck and obviously Fred. Hunter has a huge gap to cross, and I plan on seeing he does just that.

Frankly I think your man Thompson would make a great VP for Duncan Hunter! Yup!! NO doubt about it!!!

Fortunately, we have the right and the best candidate we are supporting. It’s been decades since I felt that way. Much as I like Bush, he is not a rocked ribbed conservative like Hunter or Reagan.

Come see me when Hunter starts polling ahead of the Huckster. Hunter is head and shoulders a better man than the Huckster , but yet Hunter can’t even catch him.

I've noticed all this talk about front-runners and second tier is based entirely on media created perceptions. I hasten to remind every one on this forum not a single actual vote has been cast yet. It would be a tragedy if good men were eliminated by Republicans from consideration based on a media classification of questionable worth.
