But bold initial claims and planting everyone that has an issue with the FairTax as an SQL or IRS lover is not helping, it reduces credibility.

Its in their script.

To say everyone gets 100% of their paycheck IS misleading because exactly what 100% means is not defined, nor does the bill define how it breaks out. Further, the claim that prices will fall because hidden taxes are removed without defining what those taxes are is also misleading.

Why anyone would play $15K to 18K for a service you can get for $9.5K is beyond me.

I knew some one who bought a house for an absurdly low price because she was the only one to respond to the newspaper ad. Apparently everyone who read the ad assumed it was a mistake - she did too, but decided to check it out anyway.

He (Karl Marx) lived before anyone came up with something as goofy as the prebate.

About your age I'm guessing.

Lewis, some of us save money. You should try to save some out of one of your $200,000 deals.
When someone tells you they have/had a $200,000 deal do you think it nets them $200,000?

Some day your denseness will come back to haunt you in your investment business, the trouble is you'll be too dense to know it when it happens.

All retail establishments are already tax collectors for a sales tax.
Not in Oregon.

All the retirees living on savings will love paying taxes when they spend their already taxed nestegg.
They are already are, its just hidden.
Just like the illegals?

So for the same $600, after forwarding on the NRST, you end up with about the same amount of money if not more at the end of the day.
Minus another 23%.

After the Fairtax SBG would collect $780 to net $600 then pay 23% of that when s/he spends it.

The total percentage of his/her gross income to the Fairtax would be about 41%.

If his/her service was worth 30% more, don't you think s/he would be charging that now?

So, Louie, tell us why, in your own words, why you think the income tax status quo is better for America than would be the FairTax. Obviously you feel that way because it is well known that you defend the status quo against the FT with a vehemence that speaks volumes. Let's define dense.
