The IRS and the tax code is eliminated, except as punishment for those who try and cheat on the Fairtax,. It is later ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court because it is deem cruel and unusually punishment.

To say everyone gets 100% of their paycheck IS misleading because exactly what 100% means is not defined, nor does the bill define how it breaks out. Further, the claim that prices will fall because hidden taxes are removed without defining what those taxes are is also misleading.

After the Fairtax SBG would collect $780 to net $600 then pay 23% of that when s/he spends it.
The total percentage of his/her gross income to the Fairtax would be about 41%.
If his/her service was worth 30% more, don't you think s/he would be charging that now?
