Kos Moonbats-SCHIP family being Freeped!(We're "Swiftboating Them! ROTFLMAO!)
TCRLAF | 10-08-07 | ME!

Posted on 10/08/2007 1:49:08 PM PDT by tcrlaf

DEFINITION: Swiftboating; Speaking TRUTH in the face of Democrat Propoganda

The Idiots at Kos have a huge thread running on the exposure of the "SCHIP" family by Free Republic members, that Rush mentioned today, and it's utterly HILARIOUS!

They are freaking out that we would DARE to question thier "Facts"... "UPDATE #2 Whiskeyfire has a very informative blog on this too (hat tip nyseer courtesy of Atrios)

As the day goes on, bigger and bigger smear merchants are picking this up (including The Weekly Standard).

All are (of course) listing Free Republic as the mother source. This limits any culpability and fact checking of their own.

UPDATE #3 Michelle Malkin has this story up on her site, but she's done the extra step of going to Halsey Frost's business and quizzing his tenant on his political ideology. She also drove by the Frost home... ostensibly to see how much it was worth.

There are many points being brought up, amongst them whether it's right to bring children and anecdotes to a political debate.

I don't think that this is the issue. The issue is that the right wing, led by The Free Republic and picked up by Mark Steyn and Michelle Malkin are attacking the people that come out against their propaganda.

The Frosts aren't running for office; they are trying to live their lives after a horrible accident left their children with permanent disabilities.

Knowing the types of people that are involved in this Swift Boating, it's even more terrifying to know that this families personal records and address are going the rounds courtesy of Free Republic. If anything else happens to this family, I hope God will have mercy on their souls.

And then, we have the "lousy Freeper Troll"...

"the family likely did not purchase much auto insurance if they didn't purchase health insurance. They may have had minimum liability coverage which won't cover a week of ICU and a handful of surgeries. PIP insurance is usually a small amount - is 'no-fault' an unlimited coverage?"

How dare he insert things like FACTS into the discussion???

Just some insanity for you to peruse...

So sad for the John Denver-guy, that he married into a family in which the women lacked discernable breasts. I sense the root cause of his malaise. Somehow, all Bush’s fault.

Martin O'Malley and Steny Hoyer (in background) paraded the phoney poor kids and parents today in Annapolis, Md.
I sure wasn't going to clue them in. Maryland democrats are way more pathetic than the rest of the countries dems...Even the Republicans are liberal here.

Again, I ask the question: what about the driver of the car in the accident .. and if they did/did not have auto insurance ?

In one of the articles (not sure which one), the mom described losing control of her vehicle on 'black ice'. As far as I can tell, it was a single-car accident with no other drivers involved.

These moonbats know nothing about control until Mother Moonbat Hillary jerks a knot in their tail.

Hillary loves convenient idiots and they give her what she needs.

If they have to find out how bad life can be, they will get their answer under the controlling Marxist Hillary.

They will learn what shutting up is all about. When they are no longer needed they will no longer have a voice.

If any of them had a brain, they could see the Democrat party and what they want from them, ain’t going to happen.

Magnificent. ...Truly. And, utterly lost on 50% of the population.

My Dad says that "Being a Liberal means always having to say that you're sorry."

I'd amend that to "Being a Liberal means never taking reponsibility for your actions."

I’m so effin sick and tired of the “pay for everyone else’s insurance crap.”

Given a choice of making the payments on a new Escalade or choosing health insurance and driving a 10 year old Suburban, guess which I chose to do?

Oh yeah, and my oldest goes to a private, Catholic pre-K.

Bite me, you leeches on the ass of humanity. Choose to make the right choice. Go without the expensive vacation, 70” HDTV, or God forbid, get a damn job. Your piss-poor planning is NOT a effin emergency on my part.

I agree on your correction, but if not these parents then the Democrats would have found another set. It was clearly their plan to hide behind a child (using Ann Coulter's "doctrine of infallibility") when President Bush vetoed the bill.

Surely we can find out if they got hit by an illegal alien.

I seem to recall another presentation of this story claiming the accident causing the injuries involved skidding on black ice and hitting a tree.

I think the guy looks like one of those guys on PBS who have a home repair/renovation show. Norm’s sidekick.

I can’t think of the name.

Something I am not clear on with the whole story - according to Rush their medical woes all started when two of the children were said to have been injured in a serious auto accident

If that is accurate, then all the “medical polices” in the world would have not done them any good at all - private policy or company group policy coverage - i.e. if you read these policies they clearly state that they EXCLUDE payment for injuries as a result of auto accidents - regardless of who’ at falt

Under prevailing insurance laws - rules and industry regulations in America today auto related injuries must be covered under “auto insurance” - NOT general medical policies

ruh-roh. this moonbat better watch his back

Family may indeed be a bad choice (0 / 0)
Although the level of hate expressed by the wingers is revolting, the speculation on dKOS as to the wealth of this family is just as lacking in foundation as the speculation on the winger sites.

With all the other incredibly lame things Dems do to defend our principles ( condemning Move-On for example ), it would not surprise me if this family was not well vetted before giving the address.

I support universal health coverage, but I do hope we have not set up a high net worth family as an example of the kinds of people who would be hurt if SCHIP is not expanded.

This family has stepped into the spotlight, holding themselves up as an example for all to see.

Before we start demanding official investigations and support for this family, we better be DAMN SURE they are really poor and struggling.

That family has a Danish Modern designed kitchen, Bosch appliances and an espresso maker. Not exactly Section 8 furnishings there.

The father is a stupid jerk for allowing the kid to do this. Now him, his wife and everything they do and have is going to be public in 48 hours. Including people they know. And they will get tossed aside like the rest of them.

From what I hear this story has been fully vetted.

Sorry if that makes you unhappy.

I do not support universal healthcare.

What are you doing on a conservative site? Huh?

These people are as determined to keep their eyes clamped shut as many on FR are. Sure does not bode well for the future of the country.
