The best doctor I ever had was from the Phillipines. He was present at my birth and my physician until my 20s. Not one doctor since has listened as well, nor apprised my symptoms as correctly.
That was in Maryland, decades ago, and things might differ where you are, but I'd take my chances with a Phillipine doctor over the current crop of medisocial jihadi Carribean medical school fugitives any day.

“Flips”? I’ve read lots of your posts and think you seem like a decent person, but this is uncool.
I think this lawsuit is dumb as rocks, but no need to name-call Filipinos because some numbnuts amongst them decided to be reactionary idiots.

If this suit could fly, then a whole lot of people are owed a whole lot of money retroactively for slurs in fictional situations in books, magazines, movies, and TV shows.Can you imagine the windfall for Republicans, conservatives and anybody else slander at the altar of PC/Democrat Correctness? Of course I don't support this but one would need to fight fire with fire if it came down to it.

Lawsuit whether nuisance or frivolous, who cares? At least they have better case than Ms Crystal Magnum! They have better case than SCO versus IBM. It can’t easily be thrown off the a judge either. Please don’t compare educated Filipinos versus people who never attended college coming to the U.S. via the southern borders. Filipinos who graduated college in the Philippines can take post graduate studies to doctorate degrees in the U.S. without additional credentials. They don’t need to reeducate to learn English because the medium of instruction in the Philippines is already U.S. English.

However, the Philippines does not have much to be proud of. When you have little to be proud of, and then some guy makes a mockery of even that, can see how that could get to you.

Filipinos are some of the greatest folks on the planet. They are, in my experience, the least racist people on earth, and are (for the most part) hard working, family oriented people.
I made a bad ethnic joke. So, as a an American of Polish and Italian heritage, make me an offer I can't understand. ;-)
