Surge Week ONE: Moonbats 12 - FReepers/Lurkers 9.
Surge Week TWO: Moonbats 8 - FReepers/Lurkers 10.
Surge Week THREE: Moonbats 6 - FReepers/Lurkers 18.
The moonbats' surge started after a very negative article on DU about the Olney FReep, but nothing new there. It made the Olney FReepers sound like a bunch of Nazi goons. The moonbats had several newbies come out but they quickly cut 'n run in the following weeks.
And Surge Week Three ended with only the same old senior "Quakers" in attendance. Maybe it was the U.S. Flags that the "allegiance to no Country" hypocritical "Quackers" started to display. I would like to think that it was the embarrassment that they endured with so few honks and waves in contrast to our constant show of support. And the addictive enthusiasm of our group.
FReepers, Lurkers and Legionnaires in attendance this week of the "Quackers" failed surge: Legionnaires Frank (Army) and Halsey (USMC), both Korean War Vets, Lurker Bill and daughter, Cindy_True_Supporter (CTS), Fraxinus, [Mr] of Mr.Mrs.RedWhiteBlue and his kids (Our Grand Kids), PrezUSA222, RoadKingSE, VAFlagWaver, VictoryNY, [Mrs] Trooprally ([Mrs] T), and myself.
Pics are by VAFlagWaver and [Mrs] T.
RoadKingSE is a new FReeper, joining in August of this year. In doing a Search of his screen name, I noticed his numerous posting of images and photoshopped pics. Last week I challenged him to come up with a good photoshopped pic for the Olney AAR. BELOW TOP is what he came up with. BELOW BOTTOM: This is the pic that first attracted my attention to RoadKingSE. It is of BufordP and myself on the southeast corner in Olney. For a newbie, he sure picked up on that cigar thing.
BELOW LEFT: RoadKingSE hanging back a little on his first FReep with Fraxinus and PrezUSA222 at the curb and our grand daughter in back ground. BELOW RIGHT: At the very end of our FReep, GoE Chief stopped by to see how things were going.
BELOW LEFT: VAFlagWaver before she joined Fraxinus and myself on the Southeast corner, and Lurker Bill BELOW RIGHT: Our grand daughter and Lurker Bill's daughter.
BELOW TOP LEFT: Our youngest grand daughter enjoying herself. BELOW TOP RIGHT: The grand twins. BOTTOM: Son-in-Law of the shared screen name Mr.Mrs.RedWhiteBlue
BELOW LEFT: Two signer Cindy_True_Supporter with [Mr] Mr.Mrs.RedWhiteBlue in back ground. BELOW RIGHT: Legionnaires Frank and Halsey.
BELOW LEFT: VictoryNY and PrezUSA222. BELOW RIGHT: Me, VAFlagWaver and Fraxinus on the Southeast corner. Even with us occupying a second corner, our numbers were still impressive on the main Southwest corner.
Speaking of the Southeast corner, VAFlagWaver took this pic (BELOW) from her position on the Southeast corner. It is of the center of our primarily position showing the majority of our group.
And (BELOW) is the pitiful 6 moonbats that showed up today. The ages of the very enthuism FReepers were from 4 to mid-70s. The moonbats are relics from the 60s, in their retirement years.
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
But a lot of verbal engagement in Olney is always welcome.
If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney See Post 39 Here. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.
A special Thanks to a FReeper FRiend for enhancing the original plain type directions.
The Archive of Olney FReeps is here or in the LINKS section of Trooprally's ABOUT Page.

Great pictures.
Those are the cutest grandkids............Love the kids. Thanks to all who stood for the troops.
Looks like you’ve got quite a good crop of young FREepers, out there. Bringin’ ‘em up right, too.
Good on ya!
Great rally, I can hear the shouting and honking from here! And I love the smell of cigars in the morning!
Great report. Great efforts by all.
bump
I was at my Lions meeting last night and the Legionnaires who stood with us on Saturday (also Lions) were bragging to the others about the kids. I got a “small” proud smile listening to them.
Of course, VictoryNY and her always enthusiasm shouts of support is great.
With so many FReepers, Lurkers and Legionnaire there last Saturday, that the time just flew by. It was over before I realized it.

We may have to blur his face next week so no one recognizes him.

You are more than welcome! Glad I was able to help. I know about time being tight since I’m very active. We wish we had you folks out here. I’m out of ideas regarding getting people to join us. It is very frustrating.
