For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed.
1 Peter 3:12-14
Because our President has made Jesus Christ his Lord, we pray that the God of peace Himself would sanctify him through and through [separate him from profane things, make him pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may his spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).(2Thess. 5:23,24) Give him everything he needs in order to function in excellence in the assignment you have given him.
May Your grace cover those men and women who have laid aside their own lives and purposes to serve their country in military service. Be their keeper, their shade on the right hand. We declare that the sun will not smite them by day, not the moon by night. Protect them from all evil. Keep their soul and guard their going out and their coming in from this time forth and forever. (Ps. 121)
Holy Spirit, You have said that You are the One who convicts concerning righteousness, so we are grateful for that ministry towards all of our elected and non-elected servants. Pour out that ministry of grace and send Your Word and laborers to cause righteousness to prevail in our houses of Government all around the United States of America. In this, we do reverently and gratefully give You thanks. Greater is Your Life, Your Light, Your Truth than darkness and the lies of the enemy.
We all commit this day to trust and love You with all our heart, and with all our soul and with all our mind. Thank You for all You do and are doing for us in Jesus name. Amen.
Fullfill this mission from God.

READ: Isaiah 31
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7
In August 2004, Hurricane Charley brought fierce destruction to areas of Florida. During the storm, 25-year-old Danny Williams went outside to seek protection in one of his favorite places, a shed under the protective branches of a banyan tree. But the tree fell on the shed and killed Williams. Sometimes, the places we look to for security can be the most dangerous.
The prophet Isaiah warned Judahs King Hezekiah of this truth. Hezekiah was a good king, but he repeated the sin of his father Ahaz by seeking security in an alliance with an alien power (2 Kings 16:7; Isa. 36:6). Instead, he should have been encouraging his people to trust in the Lord.
By seeking help from Egypt, Hezekiah showed that he had failed to learn from history. Egypt had been anything but an ally to Israel. Hezekiah had also forgotten Scripture. Amassing horses for cavalry units was against the divine constitution for the king (Deut. 17:16).
Ultimately, Hezekiah did seek help from the Lord (Isa. 37:1-6,14-20). And God miraculously annihilated the invading Assyrians (vv.36-38).
Judah made the mistake of valuing the strength of Egypt over the living God. May our trust always be in the name of the Lord our God (Ps. 20:7).

I am praying especially hard for President Bush today. This evening, someone who I consider a friend displayed a virulent diatribe against him, equating him with Binladen in just so many words. This is a man who I have known for more than a decade, and who I have never heard speak of anyone in such a way. I am quite shaken.
We are most certainly facing spiritual warfare.
May God bless and protect George W. Bush.
AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!
May God bless and multiply your time as you have planted this seed time of prayer to further His kingdom.
Continuing to pray for President Bush, that he will continue to do what is right in God’s eyes. Praying for the President’s health and happiness.
Also praying that God will grant us a good and just man to become the next President. We need good GODLY men and women to be in the highest levels of government, because they have a lot of impact on all of our lives.
Thank you God for guiding our country and blessing it as you have for these many years.
