It's not up on the net yet, so I'll save you from having to waste 20 minutes on the MSM.
The "Story:"
1. Army enlistment among Blacks in down 50% 2. Teachers and "Black leaders" are telling young men to not enlist. 3. I't the "White Man's" war for oil. 4. And of course, it's all Bush's fault.
That's all there was in 20 minutes, albiet repeated about 20 times.
I turned off Sunday Today when they began the show with an anti-war panel on Veteran’s Day, then found this claptrap on CBS. It was a good story for a few minutes and then they lowered the boom ad nauseam.
What war?
Once again lower the standards?
They did it to allow females in. (the P.E. test)
But. But. Wasn’t the claim, that African-Americans are *over*-represented in the Army, so any military actions by America are inherently racist?
It’s so hard to keep up with the leftwing spin.
They say one thing, until it doesn’t work, then they say something entirely different. Until that doesn’t work.
The really refreshing thing is, the story cycle on that process, continues to shrink as alternative voices (like right here in FR) are available to contradict the continuous leftist spin.

Charlie Rangel will be introducing another Create the Draft bill that he can vote against, again.
With all the enlistment incentives and bonuses one would think they would knock the doors down to get in. Had my son stayed in he could have received a 52K bonus for another 2 yrs. They never had that in my time. $71 a month, and they were still joining.
If enlistment is being discouraged because of the white mans oil, don't black people drive cars or heat their homes. I'm really confused.
Here is a little chunk of reality:
May I be crass? OK. When my son was commissionered, he was among many many lack lieutenants. Virtually all of them were going into the quartermaster corps. In this war, those troops have taken historically high casulalties. So....
are they hoping for riots?
I will assume the enlistment rate drop is true; I fully believe black ‘leadership’ is discouraging enlistment. I strongly suspect it is to the detriment of the young black men who follow it. Two other factors not mentioned: 5) even with lowered standards there are way too many young black men who have disqualified themselves, and 6) the ‘failing’ economy is still able to provide adequate alternatives for employment.

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s his specialty and rank? I know special forces a few years ago was struggling to keep their people from leaving for money elsewhere.
Actually, I think they are; at least, a radical element within the MSM does.
But, even leaving the radical fringe aside, I'm becoming more and more convinced that a very significant element of the seeming desire on the part of the press for mayhem and disorder is simply a desire for compelling subjects to write about and take pictures of. An orderly society, with a happy, contented population, doesn't need nearly as many writers, editors, and cameramen.
In short, the MSM fears a dearth of readers and watchers; strife and mayhem guarantees a steady supply of concerned eyeballs.
As William Randolph Hearst once said, "you supply the pictures, and I'll supply the war."
They don't care if the whole of Western society is endangered. They just want a paycheck.
White southern patriots are signing up & fighting above their weight as always.
