Errrr, immigrants with “green cards” are defending all of us in Iraq! About 46,000 of them I think I heard in all the U.S. services throughout the world (including CONUS). So, I guess I have to be on their side on this one.

So in the People’s Republic of Montgomery County, it’s illegal (or near impossible) for a US citizen to possess and carry a pistol but they want to give non-citzens the ability to carry and use semi-automatic weapons?

I was born and raised in Maryland. I was Nancy D'Alesandro Pelosi's next door neighbor briefly when her father was the corrupt Mayor of Baltimore. Her brother would later follow his father as a corrupt Mayor (and beat a criminal rap when the chief witness suddenly disappeared).
I thought Maryland politics was about as bad as they could get, back then. Boy was I wrong. The People's Republic of Maryland is going straight down the dumper. I'm glad I now live in North Carolina for the balance of my life. I feel very sorry for people who are still trapped in Maryland.

If the applicants are legal immigrants and they are able to perform a thorough background check, I don’t see a problem at all. It’s great for those legal immigrants that want to take on dangerous work and assimilate into our society.

The left really wants to eliminate the idea of national identity. They would like it if anyone were able to walk into the USA and immediately vote, get welfare, get free health care (that’s what “Universal Health Care” is really about).
That would effectively eliminate White Christians of European background. That would suit the left just fine.
