Too many candidates: You should have to poll 5% somewhere or have raised a million by this point to still be in the game. By my count that leaves 6 candidates.

AK is completely unqualified to be CIC, IMHO, and flamed himself beneath credibility with his "massah Bush" comments in 2000

Agree with you on too many candidates. Nine is beyond reason for any kind of serious debate forum.
In political terms Alan Keyes is a joke.
Here’s hoping that they give Duncan Hunter more than 1/4 the time they give Rudy or Romney.
This is Hunter’s last chance to break out. He has to do something.
I agree; the vanity candidates need to step aside.
Love Duncan Hunter. He is my choice. He needs to get more air time. I’m tired of the big 3 getting all the time. Huckabee is a smooth talker, not a real conservative. Go Hunter.
Romney is smooth. Huckabee is a little weasel whose only strong point is abortion and who will talk his way into a corner if left to his own defenses, but by golly, those “burn the abortionists and their supporters at the stake” types just don’t care. He’s basically the exact same candidate as Sam Brownback.
Maybe Keyes should ask Hucklebee if he considers Catholics to be Christians.
May be the organizers of the debate, I am not sure.

The only way for Romney to deflate Huckabee: ignore him. Dont go after him at all, stay on the issues and direct criticism to Dems. Surefire way to steal this debate.

Though I hope that all the candidates would be given equal time, I doubt it. It’ll be the same ol’ RINO debate between Roodie, Slick Willard, Huckabee, and McCain-—with RuPaul as the sideshow freak. Meanwhile, the true Republicans like Duncan Hunter, Duncan Hunter and Tancredo will be shoved to the side. Alan Keyes will be lucky if he gets 2 questions total.

I still have no clue who I am going to vote for, Huckabee seems like a fiscal and military RINO, and the other front runners seem weak and too polished to be real.
