After a real good, but chilly FReep in Olney, a bunch of us returned to the Olney Compound for the D.C. Chapter's Christmas Party, a warm fire, and some good cigars. As dinner time approached, over 30 FReepers, Lurkers and honored guest had arrived.
Pics were by iMacMan and VAFlagWaver.
Cindy_True_Supporter (she's no dummy) forgoed standing on the cold corner to help [Mrs] T get ready. But after we arrived from our Olney FReep, at lot of us pitched in (just a little), while also nibbling on the chip & dip and candies.
Honored guest were Legionnaires Glenn (USMC - Iwo Jima), Halsey (USMC - Korea) and Frank (Army - Korea). Frank is the Legion's chaplain and gave the dinner blessing (BELOW LEFT). We also thanked the numerous Freeper Vets that were in attendance. BELOW RIGHT: Legionnaires Halsey, Glenn and Frank with gift caps.
The award for the Greatest Distance Traveled (from new Jersey around Exit 148) goes to Exit148 and her husband (BELOW), pictured with iMacMan and Plea Deal. They are FReepers in D.C. from way back. Luckily the freeze line stayed just north of their route to and from D.C.
Dinner was fabulous. Various FReepers and lurkers brought "most excellant" side dishes. ALL the turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and [Mrs] T's famous sage saugage stuffing was finished. No one went home hungery. BELOW: Empty chaffing dishes.
We had a gift exchange also. Everyone who brought a gift got a number. When their number was called, they could either steal some one else's gift, or pick a wrapped one. Not much stealing went on until the end. Most prized gifts (most stolen) were the White House ornament, a second ornament, a book Clarence Thomas and one by Bernie Goldberg and a tee-shirt that has a smilely face and the words "Imagine No Liberals". BELOW: BufordP had to keep everyone under control with "Little Bull Horn".
For those who asked about iMacMan's Digital pic frame, he sent us his research results and some specs on similar ones. FReepmail Trooprally if you are interested in getting them.
For those who did not see it or are wondering what I'm talking about, iMacMan has a 7" screened picture frame that you slide your camera's memory chip into a port and it shows the pics. You can pick the time each pic is displayed. You can also program the 'frame' to show different files. I guess it is really a miniature slide show for digital pictures.
And the moonbats gave us a Christmas Card addressed to "The Members and Friends of the Free Republic". (BELOW). She didn't give it to me directly but to another Freeper on the corner. I guess she knew that I probably would not have accepted it. The message was basically neutral in that one could not tell if it was written by them or our side. But that is part of the left's ploys - kill the conservatives with fake kindness. I just wish they would go away and enjoy the freedom that our military has fought and died for.
The last FReeper finally left about 8:30.
But before they all left, here is what was happening. Sorry, but ran out of time to ID everyone in the pics.
Finally, the "EYES" have it.

[Mr] T for the D.C. chapter
From the number of pictures of BufordP with the bullhorn, it appears all y’all were mighty rowdy! (The reason probably being those items carried by Mr. Trooprally in one of the pictures at the bottom. . . ) Just kidding, of course! I’m glad to see such a bunch of fine folks having a terrific time. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to all the DC chapter!
