How quiet is it Chez Finkelstein on Christmas morning? Quiet enough that I actually resorted to my HBO on Demand re-run channel and decided to check out a two-minute Def Comedy short. I wasn't looking for trouble, let alone grist for the NB mill. But here's what turned up. A comedian named Patrice O'Neal. And these were the very first words out of his mouth:

Only a little OT (IMHO):
Bill O’Reilly complains that entertainers, his example is Sean Penn, won’t go to the Middle East to entertain the troops like Bob Hope did.
My take: most entertainers are flaming libs. They can easily find receptive audiences for their opinions here in the States. If they went to a war zone, the troops likely would be less receptive to their continual rants about the CinC. Thus they stay away.
Def Comedy is just another example in an endless string.
Well of course they'll go back to regarding any criticism of their president to be hate speech dont ya know. LOL!

Oh we shouldn’t use the N word, I means we owes ‘em. How about the JB word?
Well, you know, if we’re not going to raise a ruckus about this being racist, then maybe we have it coming. Same with Christians—I’m not saying we should issue fatwas, but we need to at least stand up for ourselves, and when we see this kind of injustice (and that’s what it is), we need to squawk about it. Loudly.
And oh, let’s not call it “reverse” discrimination. It’s plain old DISCRIMINATION, period. The term “reverse” suggests that only one group can discriminate, and as this article shows, that’s simply not the case.

It's been drummed into the youth that being a Republican is EVIL...that Republicans are mean hypocritical religious zealots. However, being a Democrat is cool. That's not important you say? Wait until election day.
We are bombarded every day with anti-Republican messages in the least likely places. It will have an impact.
I agree! Just look at the shape of the country today in relation to everything that has happened since President Bush took office.
I shudder to think where we would be with a RAT in office or even many of the so called Republicans now seeking it.
Well, I will not give him a pass on his immigration stance and bending over backwards to cooperate with the ultra-liberal democrats. He should have shown stronger leadership on those issues—but I hear ya.
