I think it is wrong that we beat up Kerry 4 years ago as a flip flopper when Romney is worse than Kerry and Guiliani is a liberal womanizer just like Clinton (who we all beat up on) in the 90’s.

It is also wrong if we give Governor Huckabee a pass on his moral turpitude, wrong views on 70-80% of the Conservative agenda (including social,) and complete lunacy on fiscal, foreign, and social policy simply because he was correct at one point on pro-life (but not lately) and was a preacher.

I’m amazed so many FReepers still believe their candidates are conservative. OK, maybe Mitt’s conservative NOW, but what will he be 5 minutes after the election. It’s anyone’s guess. And Huckabee? Come on. The guy’s main selling point is, “I’m Christian.” And what about McPain...the backstabbing RINO? The guy who would rather “gang” up with the Democrats to defeat conservative Republicans?

Frankly, I’d rather support Guiliani than Romney, Huckabee, or McPain, because I at least know where Guiliani stands. Fortunately, I don’t have to pick Guiliani, because there are some conservatives in this race, like Thompson and Duncan Hunter, who are not only conservative now but were also conservative in the past.

For those FReepers who still want to support Rudy McRombee, that’s your choice. Just please don’t lie and say their the best “conservatives.” A conservative is someone who believes in traditional morality AND small government. Those four politicians are NOT conservative.

I was not a Mitt guy at all until I started paying attention to the attacks on him. I have yet to see anything of substance in the attacks on him. I didn't vote against Kerry because he was a flip-flopper, I voted against him because he was a anti=American, almost traitor.
From all I have seen here, Mitt has been a faithful husband, an honest business man, a successful politician that has not had a bit of scandal or any bad associates. He is making most of the right noises about illegal aliens. I would have much rather seen Tancredo win, and I can vote for Fred, but if it is McCain,Rudy or Huck. I will not vote for them. I would rather have the Republicans in Congress opposing a Democrat president than to have them fight the Dems in congress and a president of their own party combined.
