ModernConservative.com has received a tip from a reliable source that may have election-shattering implications.

According to our source, an activist here in Arizona has been approached by the Ron Paul campaign; the campaign has requested that he run the Arizona effort to get Ron Paul on the general election ballot as a candidate of the Constitution Party.

Our source has requested anonymity, and we have agreed. We can, however, vouch for his/her general reliability. Our source also provided us with details that added credibility to the account. (Unfortunately, disclosure of those details would put at risk our promise of anonymity. We apologize for the unnamed sourcing and lack of further details, but those were the requirements that accompanied this revelation.)

We will keep you apprised of any new developments.

There has been a lot of analysis on the impact that Ron Paul has already had, and on the impact that he might...

‘ModernConservative.com has received a tip from a reliable source that may have election-shattering implications.’

Couple of points.

1. This isn’t surprising to anyone with an interest in politics. IN fact its been predicted for months now.

2. Ron Paul is a fringe candidate as the polls demonstrate, so its hardly ‘election shattering’.

3. Modernconservative should change its name to something more accurate, like ‘1780 conservative’.

Why are they selling his money all over eBay, and more to the point, why is it selling for so much ? I’d think that’s how Soros is funnelling money to his campaign.

Paul attracts moonbats, left and right. I doubt he will have the Perot effect and if he does it will take more from the dems than the pubs.

He might do it in the end, but on the other hand, I’m sure that this particular story is merely a plant by anti-Paul forces, intended to weaken his support in the GOP primaries.

That’d be good in a way in that more could see what a parasite on the GOP body he was, and hopefully he’ll draw off fewer conservative votes in the primaries. Bad in that he’ll hurt reality by not accepting it; but then, he’s Libertarian, and therefore OK with that.

They really need a none-of-the-above on presidential ballots.

Mrs. Clinton is certainly hoping for this, or better still for her, John McCain.

. . . if he does it will take more from the dems than the pubs . . .

I seriously doubt it. Soros may own Osama Obama, but he has a shared agenda with the witch. He will tell Paul to veer right in the general election so his own zombies come home to roost in their natural home of the Democrat Party, the bigger Soros enterprise.

The FBI recently raided the Evansville, IN headquarters of Liberty Dollar, the producer of the alternative currency, confiscating records and the illegal currency. Therefore, these items have become collector’s pieces. I’m surprised the Feds haven’t shut down the E-bay sites selling it. Maybe the Feds are waiting for money to actually change hands and then will swoop down and arrest both buyer and seller for money laundering.

If true, this should be good for the republican candidate as a consensus of Paul haters here say his support comes from left wing, George Soros/Moveon moonbats.

That statement makes about as much sense as a Ron Paul speech on national security. The left wants Ron Paul to run so that, just like Ross Perot in '92 and '96, he can siphon off votes that would otherwise be cast for the Republican candidate, thereby facilitating the election of the former first co-dependent or B. Hussein Obomanation.

I have had a disdain for the CP ever since I got sucked into supporting them and then when I realized that they are nothing but a bunch of political opportunists who prey on suckers, like me, who part with their hard-earned money and dump it down a black hole.

Their ads here in Iowa during the 2000 and 2004 elections were aimed at defeating Bush--not Gore and Kerrey. They were trying to convince me (and other gullible voters) that Bush was more dangerous than Gore and Kerry. They're nuts.

They have never won an election and they will never win an election. It's very easy to stand there beating your breast and asking the nation to believe that you are morally superior, knowing full well, you will never have to prove anything because you're never going to have to deliver on your promises.

The CP can go take a flying leap and the only people they can help are the Democrats. Suckers!!!

No clinton has ever been elected president by a majority of votes cast.
