Romney 1st with Huckabee close behind him at 2nd. Thompson will take a respectable 3rd.

Edwards and Obama a virtual tie with Clinton at least 10% behind them.

“1. Romney
2. Huckabee
3. Paul”

= toss the whole caucus out as an aberration.

Ambitious, but I see Fred having a very strong third place, much stronger than predicted, but not quite second place. Now if he does finish second, it will be a major change in momentum.

You predicted:

Pubbies
1. Romney (32%)
2. Huckabee (25%)
3. McCain (13%)
4. Thompson (12%)
5. Giuliani (8%)
6. Paul (7%)
7. Keyes (2%)
8. Hunter (1%)

My prediction does a flip and is in expected ranges:

1. Huckabee 30-35%
2. Romney 25-30%
3. Thompson 15-25% (alot of uncertainty about Thompson)
4. McCain 10-15%
The others don’t matter....and I don’t care about what the DEMS do

The candidate speeches start at 6pm; voting is about 7pm; results should start coming in around 8pm CT. We should have a good handle on the results yet this evening.

Thank you for posting this. I'll be looking forward to your updates and impressions!

Yeah, I would be prepared in case the other guy’s speech sucks. Nothing can deflate a candidate’s chances like someone giving a dud speech.

Maybe you could also have Fred’s Message to Iowans video (the 17-minute one) on a laptop for anyone to view before things get underway.

I don’t know. I never caucused myself. Good luck!

What time will the news coverage heat up?

CNN goes full-time with live coverage in 5 minutes; Fox doesn't formally start until 7:30pm CT, but in reality it's all they're talking about already.

ROMNEY SAYS DROPPING OUT IF HE DOESN’T WIN IOWA!!!!

LMAO

You know, it’s tactics like that spred about Fred, that reminds me why I don’t care for candidates from TedKennedyland. It’s the nuance stupid!

Prediction...

1. Romeny in a must win...
2. Fred shuts ‘em up
3. McCain in the rear...lol
4. Huckster bites it

1. Edwards pushed by the gay pig farmer block
2. Osama Obama because Iowa is a Muslim country
3. The Beast 666 because Satan can’t be president
4. Who cares....as long as they bash the top tier...

I’ll put a donation to FR in your name if the ‘kook’ does not get 3rd or 4th.

RP will get at least 4th, probably 3rd place, easy.
