LIMA, Ohio — Darla Jennings walked through the streets of south Lima last night sobbing as hundreds of people behind her called for justice after the shooting of her daughter, who was killed by police as she held her baby. Tarika Wilson, 26, was shot and her 1-year-old son was wounded when Lima police conducted a drug raid on their home Friday night, prompting members of the black community to organize a candlelight vigil and demand answers from police. "They shot my daughter and her baby," Ms. Jennings said through tears while being consoled by other family members.

Well, these were local police, enforcing a state law, using state approved tactics. You don't live in Ohio.

you wanna get harsh? addiction is as old as mankind itself, and man cannot force another to get clean. It was said earlier that most junkies could probably be found guilty of some real crime. Use that and righteously take responsibility for the innocents involved, just dont mistakenly knock my door down, cause if my babies get hurt, those who did it will be repaid in spades...
We do not know the details in this case yet. I assume they had a warrant and I assume that this woman had a prior felony conviction as was already reported. The dealer certainly did. Nobody like that should be responsible for children.
Apparently she was found upstairs and the police were downstairs. Nothing is known for certain yet. My faith lies with the police not the perps.

Not everyone is well armed and able to protect themselves when social chaos erupts.it is the duty of The State to protect the decent folks.That s why I supported the Patriot Act-too many people use our freedoms to destroy us.If there has to be some unconstitutional methods used to protect me and mine from another 9-11,then so be it.

I don't do pics (html limited) but if I did, those you posted would be at the top. The acquiesence toward police-state tactics is sobering--and I don't do sober, willingly.
The biggest differnce between our plan (the founders) and theirs is: ours isn't shoved down anyone's throat. The right to keep and bear arms isn't mandatory. The power of the state to disarm you, is. If people understood the totalitarian nature of the state, they wouldn't "slow for the cone zone", they'd accelerate through it. Ain't communism grand?
