Romney Campaign Dirty Tricks? (Check out the Video!)
No Pun Intended ^ | 7 Jan 08 | None

Posted on 01/12/2008 10:06:07 AM PST by SkyPilot

I found this video - and was shocked.

I also called New 5 ABC in Boston.

WCVB TV Channel 5 Boston

I was told that was their camerman right there filming this.

Couple this with the comment from the page of another person:

I called News 5 ABC in Boston, whose cameraman is there on the right and they confirmed that these are in fact paid Romney staffers - not volunteers and not plants. That they would do this in front of cameras just shows how dirty and brazen these people have become. Unreal. Call for yourself to verify….

Here is their contact page of the network:

http://www.thebostonchannel.com/station/index.html

Here is their phone number:

(617) 254-3298

"Dogging a candidate to this degree seems obsessive."

Indeed, it is obsessive compulsive and not passive aggressive. :-)

I do have another hobby — it’s stealing DEM campaign signs in my neighborhood. :-)

You’re asking me to prove a negative? Pathetic.

Oh, so a news organization does not put this on their site - but in phone calls confirms it is their video and their cameraman - then it is not true?

The only evidence that the news organization confirmed it is is the word of some internet blogger. Sorry, but that doesn't cut it. How do you know the blogger isn't making up his "confirmation" out of whole cloth?

The fact that the news organization hasn't run this as a story makes it very likely that the phone call supposedly "confirming" this was never made.

You're not very good at this "internet" thingy, are you?

I would speak slowly if it would help, but I can't slow down text. What is the name of the person you spoke to and what is their phone number?

LOL!

How about acknowledging two "positives."

Here are the TWO videos again:

Romney Supporters Remove McCain Signs

When caught red handed, she had to come up with something.

"I am with the Romney Campaign - but the school janitor asked us to take these down."

Really? Since you are so interested in facts - tell us all, what is the name of this janitor?

I'll bet you this - I can find out the name of that Romney campaign worker on this video.

You believe that?

Here is the other video again:

Romney Campaign Dirty Tricks

By the way, I love how the Romney woman orders the man to climb the snow bank again to remove the last remaining McCain sign.

Really classy.

I don't steal anyone's signs - Democrats included.

It is called "obeying the law."

Who cares. Yawn ... Nothing here folks, move along.

SkyPilot thinks he's miss Goody-to-Shoes and doesn't seem to know that politics is a blood sport. If you think this is the worst that happens in politics, you are a babe in the woods.

McCain has taken away some of my constitutional rights (CFR), so I couldn't care less if someone takes his signs down (no, I'm not a Romney supporter).

Baloney!

If Hillary's campaign was caught doing this, on camera, by a Boston television station - you all would be condemning it.

Stop with the double standards and the ridiculous contortions to excuse the Romney campaign of this malfeasance.

Horse Pucky, Miss Goody-too-Shoes! Get a life. If a Boston TV station had footage of Hillary campaign workers doing this, they would never run it.

The Klintoons have committed numerous murders, illegal money Chinese money laundering, and many many other crimes that are known to the mainstream media, and they look the other way. Yet you're all concerned about a few campaign signs.

I don't care a rats behind if McNutt steals Romney's signs or vice versa.

You know - you're right.

Romney Supporters Remove McCain Signs

I think it is a CGI video - like the Lord of the Rings. It must have cost millions of dollars to make this fake video.

But now, let's come back to planet earth for a while - and look at the second video evidence:

Romney Dirty Tricks

Since this is real footage, I am sure the people stealing the McCain signs and putting up Romney signs wouldn't, couldn't be "Romney supporters."

I have a life - thank you very much. I am amused by your mocking the law against vandalism and theft as "Goody-too-Shoes." It shows the kind of person you really are.

I don't care a rats behind if McNutt steals Romney's signs or vice versa.

You would make a good Democrat. Do us all a favor - Go join them and stop your charade of being a Conservative.

I am not for McCain - but that behavior was criminal. The fact that you defend it speaks volumes about you.

I didn't defend, I said I didn't care. I'm indifferent. Try reading the words on the page.

In many areas, during campaign seasons, political signs become a major eyesore. That's why I don't care who steals who's political signs. I think the police could use their limited resources much better by concentrating on capturing the millions of illegal aleins in the country and deporting them, but instead, you want them to get all excited about a few unsightly political signs. It's not a "crime" that concerns normal people, only busybodies like you.

It is you who sound like a nanny-state Democrat, Mr. Goody too Shoes, getting your panties all in a wad about nothing. If you want to complain about some silly unsightly signs, go complain to the Boston police, nanny-state Democrat.

OK - you don't care about vandalism and theft - I got it.

You know - I have given my time, sweat, and money to political campaigns. Even with campaigns I disagreed with, we always treated each other with civility and smiles. Even Democrats. I see you are beneath even the Democrats.

The comment you made above shows you know nothing of honor or integrity. Further, what you posted only justifies contempt and ptiy for you.

LOL!

You have got to be kidding! You are really reaching here. So, I don't justify Romney's little thugs stealing campaign signs - and now I am a Nanny State Democrat?

I hope you keep responding here. You are really digging a Romney hole for yourself.

And all of the above are far less dirty than the many robo-push-poll calls that the Huckabee campaign has done, which have mis-stated Huckabee’s record, made false assertions about Romney and falsely claimed Huckabee got the “Minutemen endorsement”.

Since you’re concerned about violations of the law, I thought you might be interested in the NH law on the signs. If the school officials authorized the removal of the signs before Romney’s town hall meeting, there was no violation of the law. With no violation of the law, your argument doesn’t hold any water.

664:17 Placement and Removal of Political Advertising. – No political advertising shall be placed on or affixed to any public property including highway rights-of-way or private property without the owner’s consent. No person shall remove, deface, or knowingly destroy any political advertising which is placed on or affixed to public property or any private property except the owner of the property, persons authorized by the owner of the property, or a law enforcement officer removing improper advertising.

NH RSA 163-B:2 I. The word “litter” means all rubbish, refuse, garbage, trash, debris, commercial or political signs placed on public property in violation of RSA236:54 or RSA 664:17, dead animals, or other discarded materials of every kind and description.

Thank you very much for devoting time to research the law. I hope you didn't spend too much time on it.

It is useful in examining the possible criminal intent here by the Romney campaign.

Let's look at this video again:

Romney Supporters Remove McCain Signs

If the school officials authorized the removal of the signs before Romney’s town hall meeting, there was no violation of the law.

So, what was the name of the "janitor" that the woman who was the self proclaimed Romney campaign worker who claimed gave her the authority to remove the signs and REPLACE them on the spot with Romney signs?

664:17?

Moreover, I am working on getting the name of the woman who tore down the signs who claimed she was acting on authority of the "janitor" authorize such a purge? Keep in mind - it wasn't a simple removal of signs - it is on tape as being a sweep of the McCain signs and seconds later - Romney signs all over the snowbank.

Coincidence?

Please CASchack, can your tell us all - who was the owner of that property? The burden of proof is on the Romney campaign - because they removed the McCain signs on camera, and claimed a janitor authorized them to do so.
