There is a lot of talk about change in this year's presidential race. But if Washington is truly broken, as many Americans think it is, then it doesn't merely need to be changed. It needs to be fixed. And the man who fixed up New York is ready to fix up Washington.
Rudy Giuliani has proposed the largest tax cut in modern American history and a dramatic simplification of the tax code. His proposal has received broad support from fiscal conservatives in Washington; yesterday it was introduced as legislation by Reps. David Dreier and Roy Blunt, and by Sen. Christopher Bond. Since Fred Thompson has dropped out of the race, there's no question which candidate offers the best tax plan, or is the best spokesman for advancing the tax-reform cause.
The FAST form is the centerpiece of Mr. Giuliani's tax plan, but it contains many other advantageous features. He will make the Bush tax cuts permanent. He will cut the corporate tax rate, currently second-highest in the industrialized world, to 25% from 35%, helping American businesses compete while protecting and creating American jobs. He will reinstate the Research and Development Tax Credit, a spur to American innovation that Democrats recently let expire. He will repeal the death tax, which unfairly forces relatives of the recently deceased to sell small family farms or businesses to pay the tax collector. He will cut the capital gains tax to 10% from 15%, sparking private-sector investment and economic prosperity. And he will index the Alternative Minimum Tax for inflation and put in on the course to eventual elimination.

Just say NO to Rudy!
Steve Forbes is an “elitist” Republican who truly believes in amnesty for illegal immigrants for cheap labor purposes.
“Just say NO to Rudy!”
Translation: Elect Hillary!
Hillary will steamroll Romney or McCain.
The Dems are the happiest that Rudy’s numbers have dropped. He is the only one they are really afraid of.
Nothing new. He just basically stole Fred’s plan and put a few more words in. Now he wishes to try draw votes from Fred’s supporters, which is why he said, “now that Fred Thompson is out of the race....”. Too late for that now, he’s toast, done, gone, kaput.
he’s the only one pro-life conservatives are really afraid of too
Which of these do you specifically disagree with?
Rudy’s Position — 12 Commitments
1. I will keep America on offense in the Terrorists’ War on Us.
2. I will end illegal immigration, secure our borders, and identify every non-citizen in our nation.
3. I will restore fiscal discipline and cut wasteful Washington spending.
4. I will cut taxes and reform the tax code.
5. I will impose accountability on Washington.
6. I will lead America towards energy independence.
7. I will give Americans more control over and access to health care with affordable and portable free-market solutions.
8. I will increase adoptions, decrease abortions, and protect the quality of life for our children.
9. I will reform the legal system and appoint strict constructionist judges.
10. I will ensure that every community in America is prepared for terrorist attacks and natural disasters.
11. I will provide access to a quality education to every child in America by giving real school choice to parents.
12. I will expand America’s involvement in the global economy and strengthen our reputation around the world.
I can respond to all of them at once. He’s a liar now, a liar then, and he will be a liar if he gets elected. You could re-print the Constitution with Rudy’s Endorsement and it would mean precisely NOTHING.
Rudy has a RECORD of cleaning up NY, cutting taxes, etc., but obviously you don’t want to get facts get in the way of your opinion.
Not to mention — what do you think will happen to the US during 8 years of Hillary with a Dem Congress?
Clinton promises end to economic excess
Hillary Clinton said that if she became president, the federal government would take a more active role in the economy, in an effort to address what she said were the excesses of the market and the Bush administration.
She told the New York Times she would put her emphasis on issues like inequality and the role of institutions like government, rather than market forces, in addressing them.
She said that economic excesses — including executive-pay packages she characterized as often “offensive” and “wrong” and a tax code that had become “so far out of whack” in favoring the wealthy — were holding down middle-class living standards.

What’s the difference between that and Rudy’s promise, via new campaign ads, to expand FEMA?
Maybe it’s Rudy’s sanctuary city policy that makes you feel comfortable.
Principled conservatives don’t vote for anyone whose only claim to credit is their ability to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, they are not Hillary Clinton.
There is a long list of people with impeccable conservative credentials who are supporting Rudy, from Forbes, to Ted Olson, to Bill Simon, Pat Robertson and so on.
Julie-Annie is a sickly, weak balding old man with lots of pervert problems.
The arousal factor would get Romney the women’s vote.
Let’s face it, it worked for Clinton.
im waiten to hear what annie coulter says about him...
i bet if you put ann’s name in google next to rudy’s you’ll find she doesnt back him.....
that should be good enuff for any true conservative...
Bill Simon???
Pat Robertson???
Give it a rest already.
