CNN: Rush Limbaugh, Talk Radio’s Power ‘Diminishing’ (CNN Pimping for the Clintons)

CNN correspondent Carol Costello’s report on Thursday’s "The Situation Room" would have you believe that Rush Limbaugh and conservative talk radio have "lost influence," and the supposed proof is John McCain’s success up to this point in the Republican race for the presidential nomination.

During the report, which aired at the bottom of the 5 pm Eastern hour, Costello proclaimed that Republican primary voters have "betrayed" conservative talk show hosts, and the evidence that this is the case is John McCain’s primary victories in New Hampshire and South Carolina. She used a sound bite from former Republican Congressman Bob Barr to reenforce her point. Barr opined that McCain’s success is "a sign that no one or two talk show hosts really wield the influence that they did two or three [election] cycles ago."

I thought the big concern 6 months ago was the power of conservative talk radio and how we need the Fairness Doctrine back. Now we don’t because their power is diminishing? Make up your mind Libs.

McPain’s “success” is a sign of how pathetic the Republican line-up is.

“Make up your mind Libs.”

As usual they want it both ways ... that’s one way you can tell they’re libs.

If Hillary would become President, Rush Limbaugh would then become The Most Powerful Man on the Planet (and he knows it).

But, but, Rush is the conservative. If Juan McCain is getting votes from folks that DON’T like Rush doesn’t that mean that the liberals like little Juan?

OOPS!

I have to say, if they were too darned influential, Duncan Hunter would already be president instead we are left sifting through who is the least socialist. So apparently the old media is not quite as dead as we thought.

LOL. Exactly. The problem is, as another poster pointed out, lots of poor souls will unconsciously fall for the MSM manipulation.

I do think that talk radio has lost a wee bit of influence. A lot of talk radio hosts became apologists for the Republicans who stopped acting like conservatives.

What a joke! CNN has world wide viewer ship and is far behind Fox news, which has only a fraction of the viewers of CNN. Talk about a loss of influence, CNN has not only lost what little it has, it also has lost most if not all of it’s credibility.

CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, all of them, are too stupid to understand that no one trusts them, no one believes them. As long as they believe the whole world thinks as they do, except for those evil, low educated Republicans, then they will eventually believe themselves out of business.
