Homosexuals 'Born That Way' and Erotic Sex Taught to 8th and 10th Graders Challenged by TMLC

ANN ARBOR, MI – In oral arguments last week, the Thomas More Law Center asked Maryland state circuit court judge William Rowan III to overturn a Maryland Board of Education ruling that approves of public schools in Montgomery County, Maryland, teaching 8th and 10th graders that homosexuality is innate—meaning they are born that way. The schools also show how to use condoms in anal and oral sex.

Montgomery educators were forced to defend their new sex curriculum that promotes anal sex, homosexuality, bisexuality and transvestitism despite strong opposition from several pro-family groups. The controversial new curriculum was adopted as a result of pressure by homosexual advocacy groups.

“Anyone who considers this “erotic” is probably psychotic.”

Great, my precise thoughts...reminds me of the joke: Little Red Riding Hood, is stopped on her way to Grandma’s house, by the Bad Wolfe, who exclaims I am going to eat you...to which came the reply, mygad, don’t anyone **** anymore....hope I don't get excommunicated..

That’s very funny and appropriate to the topic.

this policy dispute is but a symptom of a larger problem - the erroneous and ingrained conviction of the public school industry that it has a mandate for the complete social engineering of society and to do so on values of its own choosing

when God and prayer were chased out of public schools those events were sold, to the public, on the idea that schools should be agnostic on personal moral issues (not for or against)

people of deep faith did not believe that agnosticism was the goal of the victors

year by year that belief has increasingly proven right

Well, you’re right, it isn’t just the male perverts. It’s the females as well. And neither of them could succeed at this if it lots of heterosexual lefties weren’t supporting them. The whole anti-family crowd is pushing this agenda.

Your tax dollars at work.
I downloaded a pdf file from the World Health Organization (AIDS and men who have sex with men UNAIDS Technical Update, May, 2000, a62375_eng.pdf). One phrase caught my eye: “Sex between men frequently involves anal intercourse, which carries a very high risk of HIV transmission for the receptive partner, and a significant risk, though a lesser one, for the insertive partner.” I wonder if the kids are taught any of this.
Here’s something from the CDC, March 8, 2004:
“Men who have sex with men (MSM) are at increased risk for multiple sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, hepatitis B and hepatitis A. Numerous reports document high rates of STDs among MSM that appear to be associated with a resurgence in unsafe sexual practices.”
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/hepatitis/msm/
I predict that the gay rights movement will continue to see gains over the next, say, 20 years, but not in the long run. The life style is simply not healthy or safe.

Meanwhile the psychotic libs promote unsafe sexual lifestyles and call it a health issue in public school and parents have ZERO rights to stop it.

I don’t know about this. I mean, it’s not like 8th graders don’t already know what this stuff *is*. I went to a conservative Christian independent school, and although our sex ed wasn’t the most comprehensive thing in the world, we all knew what things were. Since it’s not like you’re going to stop horny teens from having sex (and that goes for any kind of sex), it’s probably wisest to at least make sure they know how to do activity x without rupturing something or getting a disease. I don’t practice anal sex, and if someone in my 8th grade classes had said “if you choose to do this, here’s how to do it safely,” I would have filed away the knowledge, but I can”t say I’d be any more likely to actually try it than I already am. To say that discussions of safety regarding activities that (wait for it) normal, everyday people actually do is somehow “promoting” anything is fallacious. The idea isn’t “hey kids, guess what you should do!” It’s “hey kids, some people do these things, and if you decide that you want to, here’s how to do it without dying.” I think that’s a worthy cause. Let’s stop pretending that 8th graders are ignorant on the topic of sex, shall we?

...and parents have ZERO rights to stop it

Parents have all the rights and power to stop it. They simply don't have the courage.

No courage to stand up and speak out against what is plainly wrong in their schools, even when it queers their beloved children. No courage to take any heat from the man-hating feminist social-Marxists experimenting with their offspring. Half the families don't have a biological father, and the majority of those with fathers don't have authentic men.

This is heavily the result of the careful planning of the minions of The Frankfurt School in the mid-1900's, and their linkage to government schools and the NEA.

And anything heteros do is by definition normal, natural and healthy?

Doesn't this rather undercut the message that we don't have anything against what homosexuals are, but simply what they do?

What we're against isn't gender-conflicted Johnny. Bless him, he's a precious creature of God who is in some ways disordered (aren't we all.) What we're against is sodomy.

A married man's semen belongs in his wife's birth canal, and not elsewhere.

This is not a judgement, ick-based or otherwise, against whatever kind of bedtime playfulness. That's OK. Play away. Woo woo. But the semen goes in the vagina. That's the only act that consummates a marriage, and that draws a bright line between loving union and just jerking off.

What I noticed was the impression - which I’m not attributing to any FReeper - that normal sexual relations between a man and a woman aren’t “erotic.” The behavior of those who can’t have normal relations is “erotic” to them.

I guess people have gotten pretty far from understanding what natural marital intercourse is. For one thing, many believe contraceptive intercourse is still marital. Others will argue that sodomy is OK between spouses.

Why they would simultaneously be against homosexual intercourse eludes me: unless they really are just anti-gay bigots, after all.

>> A married man’s semen belongs in his wife’s birth canal, and not elsewhere.

That’s pretty graphic. And — not necessarily accurate. The Biblical Song of Solomon discusses some of the very activities which were addressed in this post — and seems to carry no such requirement about the locale of the final act.

>> This is not a judgement, ick-based or otherwise, against whatever kind of bedtime playfulness. That’s OK. Play away. Woo woo. But the semen goes in the vagina.

Gladly, my lovely wholesome conservative Christian housewife disagrees.

>> That’s the only act that consummates a marriage, and that draws a bright line between loving union and just jerking off.

I would say the presence of a loving wife draws the bright line — regardless of the locale of the finale.

Too much information, Hemorrhage!

And do you have verses from the Song of Solomon mentioning oral or anal sex? I have read it (although not to the children :-), and I don’t remember ever having that impression.
