It shows then that liberals are now a majority of the GOP, just like Nelson Rockefeller thought 44 years ago.

Wow amazing. I was watching Fox News last night the Geraldo Rivera show. He had panelists on and they were all speaking as
if its a forgone conclusion McCain will get the nomination and will
the “hard right” come to support him in November.

On the lighter side, Ron Paul (2%)! It looks like he’s going to break out anytime now.

I’ve been away all week and had not had a chance to see much TV or check in o FreeRepublic. Yesterday I saw Geraldo on FOX talking to people as if there had been a giant shift in the polls and McCain now had some kind of insurmountable lead. What the heck were they smoking? Brett Baier said a couple of times, later, that Romney still had a chance and Geraldo pretty much just dismissed him.

I am wondering if late surges matter as much in Florida as they do in other states? By some estimates over 40% of voters have already voted, so it will be very interesting to see who the winner is. In most states you can, and should look at trends, and in this case Romneys trend is going up. But if voters have already voted, it is to late to change their minds, so the "surge" may be of little or no value.
It will also be interesting to see how effective Rudy was in getting those early voters to the polls before his numbers sank. I think I will ignore all "exit polls" on Tuesday, and just sit back an watch the old fashioned way of seeing how the totals add up.

Romney is now seen as the most electable Republican candidate76% believe he would be at least somewhat likely to win the White House if nominated. Sixty-eight percent (68%) say the same about McCain. Earlier in the week, both men were viewed as at least somewhat likely to win by 69%. Gee...I thought Rudy was the ONLY one who could beat Hillary. Oh yeah...that's old news now the MSM is telling us that McCain is the ONLY one who can beat her!
After yesterday it may not matter who can beat HER!

Romney will win Florida. All these high paid “experts” who think McCain will win are going to be shown to be clueless, as usual.

It doesn’t really matter who takes the WH in ‘08. I believe it’ll be a one term presidency...seat filler, until ‘12 when a 2 termer like steps i the way Reagan did after Carter.

The polls might not mean much in Florida since they have had early voting going on for the last two to three weeks. According to what I have read almost 1 million people have already voted. With the Democratic primary out a lot of democrats are voting in the Republican Primary and I wonder who they are voting for.
