Clinton health plan may mean tapping pay

Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.

The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC's "This Week," she said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment."

Where oh where has universal insurance been tried and succeeded?

Nowhere, but the socialists in our government continue to point to Canada and the UK as great success stories, systems where patients have to wait months for basic diagnostic procedures which we take for granted here in the US.

Isn't it wonderful to involuntarily participate in such a medical experiment?

/sarc Good grief.

She’s learned that incrementalism is the key.
She knows that her goal can’t be achieved all at once.
She’ll the abortion model;
1) Victims of Rape and Incest,
2) 1st trimester
3) 2nd trimester
4) Partial birth abortion
5) Morning after pill

Effects of Universal health care.

Reimbursments will drop and the supply of doctors will diminish. The people becoming doctors will be the same people who are teachers now. Waits to see a doctor will increase. Malpractice insruance will not be offered.

Prostetic repairs will cease for those over 70, Ie hips , knees. Later they will be eliminated all togather and you will have to leave the country to have it done.

The medicare part D will see the copay go way up. The list of approved medications will be reduced so the coverage will be worthless.

Amnbulances will no longer respond to people who are over 65, for what ever reason unless you have political connections or are super wealthy.

There will be a shortage of health care workers as salaries will be capped.

Some hospitals will close as the duplicated services are deemed to no longer be needed and will “cost too much”. Small town hospitals will disapear all togather.

Forced vaccinations, forced choices for foods as the undesirable “politically incorrect” foods will be eliminated or severely rationed. Food will consume approximately 30% of the household budjet.

Hospital aquired infections will increase. The death rate will increase from all causes.

Doctors will call for euthanasia for the ill.

All of these things have already occured at other places in the world, why would here be any different.

Communism, plain and direct.

I have to disagree. It is fascism, plain and direct. In communism, the state owns everything ... the company you work for, the home you live in, etc. In fascism, citizens own businesses, homes, etc. but the government micromanages the businesses and the citizens. They tell them how to run the business, where and when to build, and they tell the individuals how to spend their money.

American libs are fascists. The environmentalist laws dictate whether you can drain the swampland on your property, whether you can clear out the deadwood in your woods, and whether you can change the oil in your car. The libs tell us who we can hire, who we can fire, what benefits we offer our employees, and are trying to tell us we HAVE to purchase health insurance. (So is Mitt, by the way).

It is fascism, plain and direct.

I hope you meant to put a dem symbol on there.

Was it Potsie on Happy Days who tried to insult somebody and said “Yeah, my face and your ***. No, no, wait: Your *** and my face!”

Hillary Care means stealing your money so you can die in line.

I was in a cardiac rehab class, where they were teaching us slobs how to change your lifestyle to exercise right and eat right. The nurse asked the class, "How long do you keep doing this stuff?". I raised my hand and politely responded, "Until it kills you."

That sure looks like M.A.S.H.'s Maxwell Klinger on that poster...

Oh, and when someone uses the word "fascist" the odds are very very good that

a) they're a liberal
b) they have no idea what the word really means.

Cheers!

Our country is circling the drain thanks to Liberals, RINOs, and the media and Americans are sleeping cluelessly through it. I never, never, never thought we would throw away our future and never get to this point in my lifetime. In my opinion, no one running for the Presidency will take this nation anywhere but the toilet bowl.

Yes. Right you are. I said this after President Bush signed those two huge entitlement programs and pushed for amnesty of illegal aliens. This country has had it. There is no common sense or regard for freedom from government or care for our nation's sovereignty.

If I knew 30 years ago what I know today, I would not have had children.

Even Democrats won't want their wages garnered.

Some might even change their vote if they ever learn that they are having to pay for their "free" goodies!

You are correct in that the rich will have their own network and clinics. Its that way in Germany today. If you want the best cancer specialist in Germany...you go to a private clinic and you pay with a private policy or in cash. Private healthcare policies exist in Germany...and are actually cheaper...because the yearly deductible is around $3k. I had to go and visit a co-worker in a German hospital...universal state policy...so they had the guy in a room with five other patients...and it was like a 3rd world room. I sat there and felt sorry for the guy...and felt like the worst hospital in Red Bay, Alabama....was better than this German deal.

I have to disagree. Bill and Hill were indoctrinated from their youth in Central Europe with Bill having been in Moscow during some period he's never spoken of in any detail.

It's communism.

Scary ideas this candidate has.

Hillry and Schwarzenegger sound just alike on healthcare.
She has even adopted his "shared responsibility" mantra.

Is that your “yoda” impression of hillary? I read your post to myself in a kermit-the-frog/yoda voice.

It should’ve been:

Hmmm...scary ideas this candidate has.

Yoda always has a “hmmm” before talking.

First, they will need to seize your 2nd amendment rights so that when they take your money, you can’t fight back.

Haven't they been taking it for decades(?)
