Here's the deal. On XM channel 158 from 6am until 9am with the first hour repeated from 9am to 10am, talk show host Jim Quinn of the Quinn & Rose show was discussing something potentially damaging to Hillary Clinton at around 6:25am and his show was interrupted by an emergency broadcast system alert.
After finding this out from emails and phone calls from his listeners, Quinn was suspicious and posed a challenge to his listener. He said since the first hour is repeated from 9am to 10am he wanted his listeners to listen in and see if the same EBS alert was broadcast. Since the EBS is totally separate from his radio broadcast it wouldn't be broadcast a second time in a single day.
He also issued a challenge to XM saying he had a bombshell he was going to broadcast at exactly 7:35am. It was about Senator John McCain and it was really damaging. He said to XM, that if they really wanted to censor him they should do so at 7:35am.
All during the 7 o'clock first half hour everything was just fine. All during the bottom of the hour break everything was fine. But at exactly 7:35am XM cut his radio show. From 7:35am to 7:41am the signal was cut. Whether or not this was actual censorship it really is an astonishing coincidence.
Has anybody else experienced this?
EBS tests don’t last 6 minutes. They last 60 seconds. Something smells bad here.
And I don’t recall ever hearing an EBS test on XM radio at all.
Quinn just said he’s doing the McCain piece again at 8:35 to see if XM cuts him off again.
Quinn should call up Rush and talk about this, see if they censor El Rushbo.
I really enjoy that show. The channel I get it on (640 AM Akron) doesn’t come in very well so I don’t listen all the time. Bump for now. I’d also be interested in knowing what he was saying about Hillary that got preempted. I’m guessing his McCain remark was just a test and that there is no “bombshell”. But if there is, I’d be interested in that as well.

I think he should keep his mouth shut about his content. Have someone monitoring the broadcast on regular XM and whenever they cut off, repeat what he said.
If they are actually censoring, I’m sure there is a contract to talk about somewhere.
Quinn is a master paranoid. This is coincidence. (Or something he contrived).
I bet Quinn is goofing with the listeners.
So why didn’t he then drop the supposed McCain bombshell at 7:41? Why didn’t he drop it 50 times throughout his show? Why didn’t he repeat the damaging Hillary info 50 times? And why isn’t the info on Hillary and McCain in this article? Something does indeed smell bad here.
I have heard EBS tests on XM before. That said, they are not determined by the station. They are determined from outside. the whole point of the test is to make sure that when the signal comes through, the station switches over to the EBS properly. If they don’t, and they get caught not switching over, there’s hell to pay.
EBS was at 6:25am. Technical difficult was at 7:35am.
I think that XM picks up the Quinn show from a Cincinnati radio station. That being so the EBS test emanates from them - not XM itself...SSZ
I’ve actually heard EBS alerts on XM.
The puppet masters have had a death grip on the media for decades.
XM radio etc. makes it easier.
