Politically Punk'd? Seriously, McCain vs. Clinton?

Posted on 02/07/2008 10:34:12 PM PST by Bronco_Buster_FweetHyagh

Does anyone else have a hard time accepting that the 2008 Presidential race is really going to be between Hillary Clinton and John McCain?

Where's the camera crew and Ashton Kutcher? We must be getting Punk'd.

How can anyone with intelligence and a conscience vote for Hillary Clinton? Are Democrats as a whole really that stupid and evil?

And seriously, the best the Republican party can do is George Bush and then John McCain? Is true conservatism dead?

Obama - sorry, I don’t drink Kool-Aid. Every Obama fan I know has said the same thing. “I’m so sick of politics. He is inspiring. I really believe he can change things.”

When I respond as follows, here are their responses:

1) Obama has no executive experience at all. He’s never led a company or business, or even a branch of government. Nothing. Do you really feel that someone with no leadership experience at all should be president of the richest and most powerful country in the history of the world?
ANSWER: No answer.

2) Obama has refused to take a position or vote on many issues during his few years in congress. Do you know his position on any major issue other than Iraq?
ANSWER: No answer.

3) Does it bother you at all that Obama wants to simply give up in Iraq, giving the terrorists a victory and leaving them a wide open country to take over and use for future attacks?
ANSWER: BUSH IS EVIL blah blah.

This was foreordained by the elites in the two factions of our one party system. Shortly after the Soviet Union won the Cold War, and it changed its name and took down the Berlin Wall, our benefactors decided that we would get 12 years of a “holding pattern” that would permit the integration of the West into the economic system. Now that’s done, and to complete the integration we must be made more like Europe: socially, culturally, and in terms of the citizen-state relationship. McCain and Clinton are nearly identical where it matters to the elites.

Welcome to the world of television. Personally I think the republican party should just forget about nominating actual politicians and stick with actors and media personalities.

Hulk Hogan is looking pretty presidential to me right now. Or better yet Demi Moore. I'd watch her speeches. Yes I would.

No doubt you have gotten those answers to those questions. The only thing you miss is that those people still vote and they vote with their touchy feely hearts.

If sarcasm were a bus, you just missed it.

Maybe you'll catch the next one.

Here’s one more question for you to add:

Tell me the major one major accomplishment in Obama’s life?

Silence... I mean, they might be able to say he was elected to the Senate, or that he married well, or has two sweet little girls, but beyond that, the man hasn’t done anything.

1) Obama has no executive experience at all......

Answer: “That’s what we need - a change. A fresh change!! Like a crisp clean diaper on a filthy screaming baby that is turning into a monster. He is untarnished and undefiled by the corruption of corporate Amerika.

2) Obama has refused to take a position.....

ANSWER: He is a man of hope and of change. But not reckless change. Each decision must weigh the pros and cons, the rights and the wrongs, the many and the few, the here and the there, the then and the now. But ulitimatly the heart and soul must be searched to make the proper judgement as the leader of the people seeks to guide them into a new day of hope and change.

3) You forgot the “No blood for oil” schtick.

Something I would like to point out.

Many of our PAST Presidents were well qualified in the areas we say matter, and yet look at the job they did.

What qualifications did Jimmy Carter have?

I agree. It is like a bad dream. The only problem is, it’s not a dream!

"Tell me the major one major accomplishment in Obama’s life?"

LOL - That is true. On Fox, after one debate between Obama and Hill the Pollster asked his focus group of undecideds if they had changed their mind and decided. 3/4 of the people (About 15 - 20 in all) raised their hands and said after seeing the debate they had been swayed to vote for Obama. Then the clincher. The Pollster asked them to name on thing about his stand on the issues that had caused them to select him - Complete silence!

Media polls said McDole is the only one that can beat the Democrats, and a lot of Republican put their intelligence into a media poll.

McCain got it cause “it’s his turn”. The Grand Old Stupid Party has all ready surrendered 2008 to the Dems. McCain is just the sacrificial lamb they are running cause they got to run someone.

Besides which, if by chance the Dems manage to screw this up, when they have all the advantages in money, turn out and enthusiasm, well McCain is just as good as Hillary for their Corporatist Globalist agenda.

"a globalized and integrated world - which is coming, one way or the other." - Hillary

Hispanic Council on International Relations (HCIR) will present the 2005 International Leadership Awards to Senator John McCain (R-AZ)

"Senator McCain...honored because of...steadfast principled leadership in the cause of hemisphere integration"

"he married well"

Lest we don't forget, Michelle had to remind us that "she's black." You wan't to see racism? Just google how many are concerned with how "black" the Obamas' are.
