Cloudy Skies Make For Great Reflection: Week 109, Olney,MD 02-09-08: Op. Infinite FReep
February 14,2008

NOT!!! Reflections - a photographer's worst nightmare. While sunny days are tough when the sun is in the back ground, cloudy days are tough from any angle. iMacMan had his problems this week taking his famous pics of passing cars. The windows showed everything. But iMacMan persevered.

BELOW are this weeks pics. Not sure how iMacMan does it but he always gets some great pics, reflections and all.

We once again had 10 "PATRIOTS" today. Our group included Legionnaires Glenn (USMC - Iwo Jima) Halsey (USMC - Korea), Frank (Army - Korea), and Lurker Bill, BMWcyle, Fraxinus, iMacMan, VAFlagWaver, [Mrs] Trooprally and my self.

While we have good core group of FReepers and Lurkers. Not everyone can come out every week, but there are sufficient numbers in our core group that we have some good numbers each week. THANK YOU to all of the Olney patriots.

iMacMan's and [Mrs] T took the great pics this week.

BELOW LEFT: VAFlagWaver's hand, Halsey getting his sign and Lurker Bill in back ground. I have to apologize to VAFlagWaver for not having a pic of her. BELOW RIGHT:, iMacMan, BMWcyle and Fraxinus.

BELOW LEFT: Frank wearing Korean War hat, Glenn wearing his unit cap, and Lurker Bill in back ground. BELOW RIGHT: Glenn with Marine jacket (a Christmas present from his kids), and Frank with his VFW jacket.

BELOW LEFT: Halsey and Frank enjoy themselves. Saturday is a good time for them to get together. While they have the regular American Legion meetings, they don't get a chance to talk much. BELOW RIGHT: Me and BMWcyle.

From Week 107: “Now that the moonbats are out of the way, how about our Support the Troops Rally?”

OAV response: The mission of every rally is to support the troops. The mission doesn’t stop just because we go unchallenged. Keep up the great work! Tuesday night I got the chance to talk with Mike who is serving in Iraq. I told him that we’re still rallying, and included yours and Walter Reed. He really appreciates it and promised to pass the word!

BELOW: Token pic of 10 moonbats, with gloomy clouds to match their grumpy attitude.

WALTER REED NEWS FLASH

March 28 is Walter Reed's THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Come on out and join us for a "real big shoo". Details as the planning unfolds.

Great AAR and great pictures, despite the reflections. You can still each and every wave and thumbs up. Great perseverance with the pics, iMacMan! Nice pics by [Mrs.] T too. Thanks Olney FReepers, Lurkers and Legionnaires for your commitment and dedication to our troops!

It works. And you get 2 points for it.

Ya know you have escalated things now. You got me thinking of my next move, but not sure if I can top you "corny post". :-))

Are 2 points enough to win the “corn” prize?

Nope. You get the “corn” prize when one of us cries UNCLE

Somehow I think I could cry "uncle" and still win.

How did you guess. That’s why I need to keep the “corn” contest open till I can catch up.

Thanks for the early B-Day ROTFLOL.

BufordP was a little premature in his announcement, but I’m sure there is some madness to his thoughts. Probably something about making me feel older than I should.
