Seems to me she’d be more vulnerable in November

Don't count on it. McCain may be her "friend", but when it comes time between the Clintons and McCain, they will savage the hot headed old fool like you don't know. She has been waiting for this for 35 years, and nothing.. nothing.. is going to stop her.

If you are voting for Hillary because you prefer Hillary over Obama as president, then that's one thing. But if you are doing so because you think McCain can beat Hillary more easily-- that's a very very dangerous game. You will be helping put her one step closer to the presidency.

I’ll be canceling your vote out with one for Obama. Above and beyond anything else, I want the Clintons out of politics. I’ll deal with whatever comes down the road, but I DON’T want Hillary to be the nominee, and I don’t want her within “get Florida to count” and a few super delegates to switch come convention time.

I’m think Hillary will take Texas because the Democrat turnout in South Texas will be heavy, particularly in the RGV, Laredo and El Paso where the Democrat primary will be determine the general election races as well because their is no or just token Republicans on the ballot. So alot of Republicans (like I used to do when I lived in the RGV) will vote in Rat primary to have an influence on the local scene. Obama still hasn’t annoucned any plans to come to these areas that “she: just traveled. You’d think they he would have jumped right out of the gate to get down here right after the Tuesday upsets, but he hasn’t.

It’s not enough for the Beast to win these states, she has to win them by a margin that will offset MadrassaBoy’s current lead in delegates.

I don’t think she can do it.

The Beast is going down.

All the Democratic primaries are proportional.

The only Winner take all are Republican primaries.

RCP is not a poll, but an average of a lot of polls. That's good in a way, but it does not reflect the present. Also, for some reason there have been no polls of Texas that I've seen for the last 3-4 weeks. That's why, the recent ARG poll is important, even though ARG is not the most respected group out there.

RCP won't show the trend for Obama, if there is one, for a couple of weeks yet. I agree that Hillary takes Ohio. But she's lost 8 primaries in a row, and lost 20 of the 28 states they've competed in. Don't count New Mexico, that took over two weeks to count their cauci.

I'm coming around to McCain, who is definitely a safer candidate than Obama or Billary. I'm crossing over in Texas to mess with their process, as they've messed with ours. I was going to vote for Obama--but now, I know I should boost Hillary to keep the fight going until the Dim' convention. But I just can't do that. Billary is evil, it's unnatural, a two-headed monster that will have their marraige dynamics played out on the world stage for four years.

Someone here said to watch McCain on Larry King last night so I tuned to a network that I've not watched since they started airing 'snuff films' of our guys in Iraq. McCain looked so much better than either Hillary or Obama. I think that we sweep the floor with either of the Dim' candidates this fall, so I'm pushing Obama in Texas to kill the Clinton's once and for all.

If Hillary runs but loses, she and Bill still control the party for four more years. She might even run again. If Billary, Inc. loses the nomination in a messy, convention floor fight, then their Party is through with them, and America is better off.

Just one other thought. If Obama is the nominee and selects Hillary as his running mate, he’s really stupid. I’d hate to think the only thing between Hillary and the presidency was my beating heart.

I personally don’t think anyone will do a massive pull-out in Iraq. I think if obama would be elected, he would either, try to govern in the middle, be as bad a carter, or be so bad that it’s another republican stomp in ‘10, after the pubbies get their game together, hopefully. I admit, I’m blinded for my despise of the clintons. They have their shop already set up and she’s got a huge ax to grind.

No, they haven’t.

This is the first Texas poll in a year.

Obama leads Clinton among self-described independents and Republicans 24% to 71%....Obama leads among men 55% to 29%

This is the main problem. Stupid white men and Republicans are planning to vote for Obama to "stick it" to Hillary, whom they rightly have hated for years. Unfortunately the only one they will be sticking it to is themselves, as they guarantee an Obama Presidency and a time warp back to 1977. Only this time, we face a Islamofascist enemy whom Obama will appease to such a degree that he will make Neville Chamberlain look like Winston Churchill.

Don't be foolish. Texas Republicans: Vote for Hillary. The only candidate we can defeat in November.

I just saw two TX pols this morning showing Hillary up by 7. This American Research Group doesn’t have a very good track record.
