Tim Pawlenty. Hope this doesn’t mean he is on McCain’s short list for VP. Pawlenty is a fairly good Gov for Blue state Minnesota in that he has reliably vetoed every tax hike our goofy Socialist Legislature has sent him but otherwise pretty moderate. He is party to the effort to re-brand the GOP as “Democrat Lite”. He is a global warming kook and been more then willing to ram thru state funding for stadiums. He is a young version of “maverick” McCain.

McCain needs a solidly Conservative young Southerner with executive experience. Pawlenty brings nothing to the ticket. Minnesota hasn’t voted for a Republican since Nixon and it will not be going Red this year either even with Pawlenty on the ticket

Morning AB,all and thanks again for what you do.

I will be Freepworking today checking in from time to time.

Looks like we are stuck with McCain but that doesn't mean we cant send a message to whomever installed him as soon as we discover who did it.

By "who did it" I mean who told Charlie Crist, Martinez, the other FLa. Rinos et all to back McCrazy.

We need to make sure it does not happen again in four years.

Nader is the only guest on MTP? GE must be doing clinical trials with Big Pharma on insomnia cures.

Good morning and thanks, once again. I have to wonder if the Democrats really do have a death wish? Obama or Hillary, both sure seem to be unelectable to me. Both would ignore the illegal immigration problem and both want some form of universal health care forced on every American.

“Tim Pawlenty. Hope this doesn’t mean he is on McCain’s short list for VP.”

Of course it does. First the drive-bys pick our nominee. Now they’ll pick his running mate. Can’t wait for them to pick the Cabinet. Wonder who the Times is considering for Secretary of State?

Interesting line-up w/McCain’s campaign manager and Sanford on the same show. Seems I heard rumor that McCain might be looking at Sanford for VP.

Morning Morgan! I am so glad you made that statement!

I have been telling everyone I know that a candidate with 49% negatives is going nowhere and a candidate with only months in the Senate, no matter how big a rock star he is, will also go nowhere.

. Jury is not in on that one yet. I would wait a while to see who actually picked McCain.

Good morning,

Yep, we may be stuck with McCain at this point but we will continue having this problem until we develop a stronger back bench of conservatives who can champion the issues we believe in and support.

To me Huckabee does not meets this criteria.

"McCain needs a solidly Conservative young Southerner with executive experience"

When Hillary or Obama lose the Democrats are going to go nuts, once again. Of course, that assumes Republicans don’t snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Absolutely, plus we need to show the Rinos in power that we as Conservatives will not be pushed around. If they screw with us they need to pay a price. Whether its withholding bucks or bumping guilty parties right over to the other side we need to follow through. When it is decided “on high” who will be our next candidate things have gotten way out of hand! Disrupting the natural flow of electing a nominee is inexcusable.

I wonder if this will brought up today? Too bad Texas State Senator watson didn't mention this as one of B. Hussein o's major legislative accomplishments.

Obama's sovereignty giveaway plan

I really don’t care which area of the country he comes from. I always thought the idea of a VP was to have someone who could step in as President in a moments notice and do as good or better job than the current man(like the UF football team) or someone who can carry a specific geographic area.
