The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that John McCain continues to hold a very modest lead against both potential Democratic challengers. In a general election match-up, McCain now leads Barack Obama 46% to 44% and Hillary Clinton 48% to 44%. McCain has led both Democrats on each night of individual tracking since the controversial New York Times article on McCain was released earlier this week (see recent daily results and summary of recent state general election polls).
The Rasmussen Reports Balance of Power Calculator shows Democrats with a 284 to 229 lead in the Electoral College. If leaners are not included, the Democrats lead 238 to 189. Since yesterday, North Carolina has shifted from Safe Republican to Likely Republican while Wisconsin has shifted from Likely Democrat to Leans Democrat. New polling has been released today for Wisconsin and New Mexico. The Balance of Power Calculator determines projections by aggregating a variety of information from many sources including polls, the Rasmussen Markets, analyst assessments and more (see summary of recent state general election polling).

I expect it will be close. The economy will be the big issue though and McCain isn't very clever about that.
Ras has not published Bush’s popularity ratings in some time. Why, and what are they? Thanks
And I dont want to live four or eight years under Dem domination.
The problem is that you get that if either party wins this time.
The economy will be the big issue though and McCain isn’t very clever about that.
How is Pedro polling?
This will change when there is one RAT candidate.
Too early for polling yet.
President Obama thanks you for your support, and in return will give you Hillary Clinton on the Supreme Court, confirmed by the filibuster-proof 'rat senate you helped elect.
No one is asking you to stand in line like good little sheeple. People are simply asking you to rationally assess the situation. It will be McCain vs hillary or Obama in Nov. There will be no 3rd Party that would stand a chance. Think of the longterm consequences of having either Obama or hillary as President for 4 to 8 years. You will not be teaching the Republican Party a lesson.
The repub were ready to stop the sweep in 2006 But,the Repub party stayed home after the DNC operative Brian Ross pull a the Oct surprise at ABC and the Rep congressman did nothing about for a week which ticked off alot of religious core voters. I worked the polls in Fl and the repub voter rolls were way down.
I hope you have someting beind this. Obama candidacy does have a whiff of McGovernism about it.
I’ll break out the champagne in November. This is going to be a tough battle and we will need every vote.
All the exit polls showed that Republicans showed up but the IND’s voted RAT.
Umm, more states will come into play. Pennsylvania and Oregon for starters. Obama polls surprisingly weak in Massaschusetts as well. With Lieberman campaigning for us Connecticut will likely be in play as well.
Perhaps I shouldn't have said never. Ok, if come November and he was on life support and his running mate was Fred, I'd vote McInsane.
Maybe the sheeple are the ones who will stay home or write in.
Maybe the “Powers the forced McCain on us” were counting on that, so Hilary or Obama would win.
I have an idea. Why not reflect on the consequences of your choices instead of this infantile selfcentered tomfoolery? Who cares about your vote anyway if you're going to act like a third-grader? He'll get 65 million other ones.
