The country is swept up in Obama-mania, the candidate who promises immediate withdrawal from Iraq just as we are winning the war. The anger in the streets is palpable. And in the middle of election madness, the hate-filled rhetoric of the anti-war crowd has gone under the radar of the Mainstream Media. ALERT: An ugly thing is set to happen in Washington, D.C. this week. The same people who are bombing Marine Recruiting Centers and assaulting pro-troop supporters in the streets of Berkeley are organizing to spread MORE lies about the men and women who are currently serving in Iraq. They plan to make a false comparison to what the Vietnam Veterans were accused of, wrongly, 30 years ago. You have heard it for years--baby-rapers, murderers, insane soldiers let loose to strafe innocent civilians. As recently as a few days ago, Cindy Sheehan, the woman who dishonors her son with lies about his service wrote this: ..Iraq Vets Against the War is holding a “Winter Soldier” event soon, and they will recount stories of how they participated in war crimes or witnessed war crimes, which is not in dispute because the entire invasion and occupation is a war crime. These young people came home alive and many of them will have to deal with their demons forever as my Vietnam veteran friends still do, but we families of soldiers who were killed will also be haunted by things we know and things we will never know or never know for sure. The stories of military neglect, abuse (sexual, physical, mental, emotional) or lies are almost as many as there are troops: living or dead... The world according to Cindy says that our troops are participating in war crimes and atrocities, just like the Vietnam Veterans did..and the stories of abuse are continuing today. Senior Adviser General Merrill McPeak Interview April 08, 2007
Excerpt from Interview (then):
When McPeak was asked about pulling out of Iraq. He said, " he favored a departure as early as feasible; but it is not a good idea to give a public date! That gives options to those that would do us damage! In a sense, we could do more important things than immediate departure. Our position in the Middle east is probably sabotaged for centuries. There are Positive steps we could take now and announce now. Economic assistance doesn't make any difference until you have stabilization or settled down- then you can help them get back on their feet."
The General was asked about Abu grab several times in this interview. The General said, he "strongly believes we should bulldoze Abu grab prison and plant a garden! He also believes "we should fire 20,000 contractors in Iraq who are not in the assistance (grid construction) field, simply gun slingers, mercenary types. Like Blackwater?" asked the Interviewer. The General hesitated and responded at that point, "yes; I would get them out this afternoon! he added; "as they are an insult to our military! If there is something wrong with our trained Army, then we should fix it. Many of the contractors are from overseas, very tough guys!"
"We are building a dozen or so main operating bases in Iraq-large bases. I would announce we are suspending all construction, because is a waste of money! In the beginning you could argue you could stay a 100 years and make a very good argument. You could have argued in 2003, go in and build a permanent presence. It would have been a logical case to be made. He gave examples of the US being in other countries for decades. We can't stay now because we had so messed up the operation. The dozen or few bases, we are just constructing are just monuments of the past-- and stop construction because of the cost," he adds. The General emphasized, "the Pictures of what happened at Abu grab prison will be in textbooks read by Arab school children for generations. Raise it and blow it up!" The General said lawyers in uniform have recommended this for a long time. Those in Washington, sitting in an office in uniform have decided differently."
When asked (1 year ago) that he might become the Military Adviser for Obama, he added, " he was impressed with what he could see. What I liked about Obama was he told me he "wants "to change the game, not just be good at the game". Hillary knows how to play the game....."
Plus, added bonus point, she sure is on the right side of history on this one.

Wasn’t your son a soldier over there? On his 2nd tour? are yous aying he took part? No? Just other peoples kids did these things. I bet NO ONE did. Just like Kerry made it up during Winter SOldier. Just like hime they will make thinks up.
