Clinton Remarks About Obama are Troubling
Black Voice News ^ | March 17, 2008 | Hardy Brown

Posted on 03/17/2008 10:50:46 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

I have been troubled by Former President Bill and Senator Hillary Clinton's "presumptuous" offer to Senator Barack Obama to serve as vice-president during her presidency. Her assumption is that she would be more electable by the public at large and become the nation's first female president. While we would be ecstatic to have Barack as vice president, all of this is totally ignoring the fact that he is clearly the Democratic frontrunner in the race.

After listening to the Clintons, I had a chance to talk to my dear friend Rev. Art Forbes when he came by the office to pray with me. As we reminisced about our days at Kaiser Permanente, the Clintons behavior became crystal clear to me. Art reminded me of something that happened to him, as well as to other African-Americans we worked with at the time who were extremely prepared and experienced, but who were not given certain management positions because of racial politics. When Art returned from a Kaiser sponsored meeting in Washington DC, he found his reporting manager had been changed. He was now being told to train his new boss so that he can become president of Kaiser. The same was true for other Black employees like Sandra Cox, an attorney, who after years with the organization was denied the top legal position. Then there was Richard Webster, a manager, who was constantly sent new assistant administrators to mentor. He never did get the top spot.

In the race between Hillary and Barack, he has more elected years experience than her. He has more popular votes than her. He has more pledged delegates than her. He even has won more states than her. In other words, by every count one would measure who follows the election, he is in the lead. So Hillary and Bill stump in Mississippi and say to the Black voters I know you like Barack and me so you can get a chance to vote for both of us by electing me and I pick Barack as my vice president. Thanks to Barack for saying "no thank you", "I'm running for president win or lose."

Just a week ago Hillary commented that she and John McCain are the only ones left in the race who have the qualifications to be president. Then after she offered the vice presidency to Barack someone asked her how he could be her vice president since one must meet the qualifications to be president. Then her staff said he can qualify by the election in November. When I heard that I thought of the Holiday Inn commercials where people stay overnight and become surgeons, mechanics, airplane pilots, you name it. In their mind, I guess they will let Barack stay in a Holiday Inn Express one night to qualify him for president.

With Barack winning another primary this week in an overwhelming landslide, I hope both Hillary and former president Bill Clinton, change their campaign rhetoric, or at least acknowledge that Barack is actually the frontrunner in the race for president.

She figures she has the lesbian vote all locked up.

You are right about being troubled about most any remark coming out of ANY Clinton.

Hardy, those of us on the right have known it for years, but you were blinded all that time, and sir, you are about to get a first class education by two of the most power hungry swindlers in the history of our great country.

So think of it like the weather, you can't do much about it, so you might as well enjoy it.

Sorry but Barry Hussein isn’t qualified to lead the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Chi-town - in fact, he could not lead a puppy to a chewbpone unless Rev. Wright would guide him.

When will Blacks wake-up and realize the Democrat Party has used the Black voters since the Republican Party freed the slaves.

Well, seems many black churches are producing a black KKK mentality.
Add to that the welfare state giving them just enough for some to not work and to birth more and more poor kids.

I am beginning to think since most don't get it that in fact there might have been some truth to that book the Bell Curve.
I mean isn't insanity doing the same thing over and over that never works?
Maybe for the most part, that culture isn't all that bright here in America.

I know when their black brothers and sisters arrive from Africa (with out Jesse Jackson or the chains of victimology) that they kick ass like the Asians or anyone else who comes here and accesses our opportunities.

“When will Blacks wake-up and realize the Democrat Party has used the Black voters since the Republican Party freed the slaves.”

Actually, the Rev. Wright has it figured out. He said that Blacks had been Monica Lewinsky’d by Bill Clinton and that he was “Riden Dirty”. The Wright Reverand has the Clinton’s number indeed.

Clinton Offers Obama VP Spot on Democratic Ticket

Presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) has offered Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) the opportunity to run with her as the Democrat’s nominee for vice-president. “Look, Barack is a nice boy,” Clinton observed. “I wouldn’t want to see anything bad happen to him. As my vice-presidential running mate he’ll be safe. And with a little seasoning under my administration, he might be a suitable presidential contender in another decade or so.”

Thus far, Obama has rebuffed Clinton’s offer. “I don’t know how somebody who is in second place is offering the vice presidency to somebody who is in first place,” Obama told supporters. “I’ve gotten the most votes. I’ve gotten the most delegates. Women faint in ecstasy when I speak. I’ve been called a messiah. The real question is whether the presidency is a high enough position for a man with my kind of talent.”

That is so true. We have a young professional couple on our block originally from Africa. They are friendly, self-respectful, wonderful neighbors, and so are their parents who visit — as opposed to the A-A single mother and her misbehaving teenager at the end of the block. When he breaks a glass bottle near someone's tire or the like, and one of the neighbors yells, she comes out of the house and says nothing to the kid, but gives the offended neighbor the evil eye.

After the next few days the debate will turn to whether Obama would be a lethal drag on a Clinton candidacy.

The moonbats may still be fainting and swooning, however most Americans are appalled at Obama's hate church and the "reverend of racism".

On the bright side, these madrassa-like hate-schools are exposed on a scale that cannot be undone.

May they be shamed out of existence.

I think that if Hillary wins steals the nomination from the deserving Barack Hussein Obama, then the African-American community should boycott elections for the next twenty years. AT LEAST twenty years.

Similarly, if the young, inexperienced upstart Barack Hussein Obama, who was cajoled into the race simply to be Hillary's foil and keep her name in the news, actually WINS the Democrat nomination by spouting a bunch of meaningless fluff and exploiting liberal white guilt and college kid stupidity, then Democrat women should boycott elections for the next twenty years.

Somebody needs to be taught a lesson here, make no mistake.
(And I don't care who.)

"The moonbats may still be fainting and swooning"

Seems to me for the most part the MSM is almost completely ignoring it, hoping it will go away. A lot of people that don't watch Fox or conservative media haven't heard a thing about it.

I don’t think Obama is toast. None of the rats care about that “GD America” talk.

Obama leads in delegates and popular votes. He’ll continue to lead that way throughout the rest of the primary campaign. The super delegates will not risk the righteous wrath of the moonbats (who could easily bring back Chicago’68) and they will coronate the Magic Negro as their nominee and Divine Leader.

It’s Hillary who is toast. She’ll be eating rum-soaked raisins with Tah-ray-za this time next year.
