A Hundred Thousand Motorcycle Riders (Well quite a few hundred) infiltrated Berkeley along with hundreds of others who drove cages and used other forms of transportation (Tunnels with Trains) in Support of our Troops and the Marine Officer Selection Recritiment Office in the California town that is trying to withdraw from the human race and The United States Of America.
Well, that's my take on the actions of Berkeley whose very existance depends on our country being well armed and manned by Military Personell.
I arrived about 11AM, although my camera thought it was 10
The speakers were scheduled to speak in an hour or so, and it looked like this around the office:
About an hour earlier the bikes thundered into town, one with Melanie Morgan of Move America Forward on the back and loving every minute of it on the ride from Emeryville to Berkeley.
She straightened out her hair and got down to business and gave a great speech and even mentioned the astounding opposition...about four of the cross dressing punks in pink. They stayed on the outskirts and didn't try much of their brave dissing of Military people, past and present. The must have judged the many attendees correctly...
The crowd was enthusiastic and brought some great signs in Support of The Troops.
The greatest "sign" of all, the Flag of The United States of America. They were everywhere!

I really meant the "Surface Warfare badge", which I could not ID. I forgot that Navy puts the the "career field" on the rank insignia of the enlisted force.

I had a hell of a time yesterday. It was mighty nice not being outnumbered a hundred to one by screaming leftists. In addition, I met some real interesting folks among the Patriot Guard, which made things more interesting. It was good to meet like-minded fellows, and in Berkeley to boot. Felt like the 4th of July.
There was one amusing incident. A leftist (with stereotypical bumper stickers) was about to park when one of the Patriot Guard swooped in and took the spot first. She got out of her car and began to complain to one of the Berkeley PD who was nearby. The cop’s response: “Lady, we have more important things to do than to bother about your parking spot.” She stomped off in a sulk.
In addition, one leftist who was foolish enough to have a sign that said “USA = War Criminals” was run off rather quickly. A Marine veteran and then a lady with a “Don’t tread on me” flag both gave the leftie hell.
Can’t wait till next time this sort of thing happens.
Saturday showed the nation and the media (even though they spun it every way from Sunday) that the weak willed anti-Military/America crowd will not prevail.
You do not pick a fight with the United States Marines and win. Period.
The mindless, the lackeys, the tools, the followers, the lemmings, the hippies, the minions, the trust fund babies, the empty headed fools and the rest of the followers of code pink, World Can't Wait, ANSWER, the CPUSA, Soros and other liberal elitist leaders have no idea what this war is all about.
It is not about Iraq or Berkeley, or even fighting and holding back terrorism around the world.
It is a very serious widespread War against America and all it stands for, and the leaders of the afore mentioned groups are well aware of that fact and will do anything they can, anyway they can, anywhere they can, to destroy this country and the freedom it stands for.
Even the "leader" of code pink, Medea Benjamin is just a tool of forces that she has no idea who they are or the power they wield.
She and the others, including the media, are just riding a wave of self-induced false euphoria that will come to an abrupt end if those that pull their strings are victorious in this monumental struggle for the life of the USA and freedom for any people anywhere on this planet.
OK, I'm going to stop now...I could go on.

I know you, like many of us, like to be on the front lines but sometimes can't pull that off as much as we would like to.
It could be either one of them, but I am leaning towards Peterson because of the slightly buck teeth.
Both guys hair is about the same, and the false front teeth are so obvious on Garrett that I think I would have noticed that. (weird ain’t I? LOL)

I hate to do it, Syncro, but on this I must disagree. Medea Benjamin is a tool of no one. Medea Benjamin knows exactly what she is doing and for what goal she is working. She is a Marxist, through and through. Remember, she lived in Cuba for a number of years before Fidel kicked her out when she complained that he wasn't communist enough for her liking.
Medea Benjamin disarms many people with her calm, quiet talking voice, and her choice of (loving, peaceful, motherly) words when she talks to folks one-on-one. But she is a con artist who would slit your throat without batting an eye; and all the while telling you in a soothing voice, "I want an end to killing, wars and violence of all kinds."

My point was that she is unaware that she and other leaders like her will be the first victims of their overlords when they come into power.
And like most people who lead these movements they aren't aware of the evil spiritual forces which are behind these organizations.
I do appreciate your post though, it greatly clarifies Benjamin's roots and agenda for those that do not know where she is coming from.
Plus I didn't know that little jewel about Castro not being commie enough for her.

Sync, it helps to read the write ups and see the great pictures for those of us who could not make it! Thank you all! After being in DC (march ‘07) it IS hard to not be there. ::grin:: But, I also know that efforts of prayer, wherever we are, and little I can help in other ways is coverage that is also needed. There are many behind the scenes...thank you to all of you for your part however big or small. Without you all it would not have been successful!
