A top member of a Phoenix police union is standing by reports that at least one of the men involved in a Monday morning home invasion and homicide was an active member in the Mexican Army. Click Here for the update.
"Even if you put aside the Mexican military, you have illegals in the country...they're protected with tactical gear using tactical strategies in police uniforms willing to ambush police officers. I think that's bad enough," said Mark Spencer, President of the Phoenix Police Enforcement Association.
While on the J.D. Hayworth show Tuesday, Mark Spencer announced that the suspects were hired by drug cartels to perform home invasions and murders.
The incident at 8329 W. Cypress St. resulted in the death of the homeowner. Between 50 and 100 rounds were fired at the house.
Spencer said a police officer told him that one of the men captured said they were completely prepared to ambush Phoenix police, but ran out of ammunition.
He added that all were all dressed in military tactical gear and were armed with AR-15 assault rifles. Three other men involved in the invasion escaped.

Local Phoenix radio station KFYI appears to have done some investigative work and obtained evidence supporting claims that at least one of the 6 shooters from Monday morning is a current active member of the Mexican Army.

I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.
Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Studies relevant to the issue only allude to more blacks and whites being killed by firearms. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. He said further that most of illegals in the federal prisons were in for drug related charges. Most of the illegals in jail for murder were in the state prisons. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.
Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans--but by no means all -- being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article. Also this article from the LA Times. And here. This makes intuitive sense. We see stories regularly of drug gang killings in Mexico but we don't see those same stories in the USA. The reason we don't see those stories is not because its not happening. Rather we don't see the stories about illegals killing blacks because that kind of story is terribly politically incorrect. The populations being displaced in downtown sanctuary cities especially are American blacks. That means that their criminal elements would be pushed aside by Mexican gangs as well. That's also the story that the wanted for murder posters in all the major cities seems to suggest.
Why isn't there an outcry in the black community? Beats me.
Nevertheless, the pattern of non reporting is starting to break. Discovery Channel has a series called Gangland that mentions ethnic cleasing of blacks by Mexican gangs

All that said the true number of criminal aliens is far higher than is revealed by criminal aliens in prisons. Most are simply waived through the courts.DHS Secretary Chertoff, has been quoted as warning that two million people in this country illegally have committed serious crimes. However the number of illegals on death row is far lower. Sadly, so many small towns and villages across America have sent their warriors off to war half way across the world only to see communities fill up with illegal aliens.
The American southwest is slowly becoming a dangerous place.
That is a very good question. My personal opinion is that this was part of the drug cartel war going on in Mexico now and was sanctioned by a dirty group within the Mexican military. An absolute answer is not so easy- there are groups of highly organized supporters of drug cartels in the Mexican military. There are also members of the Mexican military who leave the military in order to work for a drug cartel- the AWOL rates in the Mexican military are astounding and most claim the main reason is they leave to hire out to the cartels. There are also rogue elements that might on their own do something like this, but since it involved several people I would need a lot of info to come to that conclusion. Mexico is so thoroughly corrupt it is hard to really decipher this type of thing. A few weeks ago a DEA agent told me things are such a mess in Mexico now that they have a hard time figuring out who the good guys are and who the bad guys are at this point- and just because one has a badge or is in the Military does not mean anything about what side they are on. The possibilities are endless.

SLOWLY????? Nothing slow about it from what I can see. But were we to build the fence AND decriminalize drugs, I think we’d see a MAJOR lessening of problems like this. Also, today’s SCOTUS ruling on 2A will help a lot. Getting rid of restrictions on carrying and owning firearms will make these thugs think once or twice more than they currently have to... except that Arizona has some reasonable open carry rules.
