My Wedding Anniversary is Nov. 10th, the Marine Corps Birthday. No way I could forget!

Mr G gave me the best Christmas present ever.... one that still has brownie points attached to it even 15 years later.

He went through the calendar and picked a special day in every month of the year... the day we met, the day we got engaged, our anniversary, his birthday, my birthday, etc etc... and ordered flowers to be delivered on each of those days. So I had a year’s worth of arrangements delivered, but mostly I had a list that he gave me with each day highlighted and an explanation as to why it was important. It was the most romantic present he ever gave me (and I still have the list).

He never has to hit another day correctly for the rest of his life.

Oh, and in this family, I am the one who forgets dates.

They believe this might explain why men are far better at remembering ''tactical'' memories, such as travel directions

All of us girls who have ever been in a car with a man who refuses to stop and ask directions just realized this study is pure bunk.

” I completely forgot it was my birthday this year”

I do my best to forget mine but somehow I know when the day arrives but I don’t tell anyone hoping that they will forget.

Live your life the best you can, be grateful for that which you have or have had, and go on.

I couldn't agree more. If you live day #1 thru day #364 like you mean it, you can live day 365 as normal, and it will mean more than any Hallmark moment could ever mean.

My 30th anniversary is in November. I won't love my wife any more on that day, than I do today.

It is (or has become) a painful recollection and experience.

Any other questions?

My wife and I do the same thing. In fact, almost that exact thing has happened to us. We both think it's hilarious. We've both forgotten our anniversary several times.

If a woman places importance on annual "events",( Valentines Day particularly) that is a symptom that she is very insecure in the relationship, for any variety of reasons, and not always to do with the man.

My wife puts it this way. "If I have to rely on what you get me for Valentines Day to know that you love me, we've got some serious problems.

Yet, for may couples, that's how it is.

My latest invention: A recording intercom -

You speak into the one at the bottom of the stairs, recording why you’re going upstairs.

When you get to the intercom at the top of the stairs, you hit playback so you can remember what you went upstairs for.

I was married on the first day of Spring so I wouldn't forget.

Or was it the first day of Summer?

I don’t need to remember birthdays and anniversaries. That’s what calendar programs are for.

1. Which is why they have to feel their way around.

2. Don’t make me get ugly unless you really mean it!

3. So who’s counting?

4. Only under certain circumstances, and only for certain ears to hear.

5. Tell me all your secrets.

6. There’s a better place to put it.
