I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."

“Just emailed Boehner’s office. Please keep us informed. My wife suggested a good protest would be for every American to light candles every night (front porch or windows) to protest Pelosi’s obstruction of the vote and the darkening of the House chamber. Does anyone have any other suggestions?”
