AP ^ | Aug 24, 2008 | JULIE WATSON

TIJUANA, Mexico – The towering black gate opens silently to an alley with walls of corrugated metal. Scrawled in large white letters on one wall is: "The End."

Re: Every time the gate slams shut, it wipes out a dream, divides a family, ends a life lived in the shadows of the law.

Had they followed the law in the first place, they wouldn't have lives that got shattered!

If it's any consolation, most of the deportees can't read a word of English.

I think Julie Watson from AP should be shown the same door, forced to spend the rest of her natural life documenting the plight of someone forced our of a country they illegally or figuratively knowingly abetted such. Screw her and screw her illegals.

What is it with people like this author? I honestly don’t understand why they cry the blues over someone who broke the law to get into this country. Do they believe pandering to latinos is progressive?

“Mexicans deported from US face shattered lives “

Stay there then, and your lives won’t be ‘shattered’! I’m told everyday how illegal alien Mexicans have BUILT this country....go do something with that mess down there you are so proud of.

Hmmm.

Maybe they can fix their country so it isn’t such a hell hole.

I remember what I was told in my Navy years whenever I bitched:

“We have a hotline for that: Dial 1-800-WAAH.”

Or Spanish, for that matter.

Boo freaking whoo.

Nevermind the credit cards, ss cards, etc. they have stolen from hard working LEGAL American citizens and ruined their lives. Or, the ILLEGL drunk drivers who have murdered innocent LEGAL citizens.

What these illegals have ‘built’ is a legacy of gang rape, gang culture, drunken murderous driving, uninsured driving, uninsured-for-anything period. The pittance they save on costs for building, gardening, cleaning - whatever, is miniscule when compare to the long term cancerous damage they inflict on this country. The dilute our language, our culture and they threaten our children.

Did they learn nothing working in the US? Capitalism? Thrift? Ambition? English? Just what are we teaching these folks?

Is this a rhetorical question?
