With top Dems fearing Barack Obama is in a hole, the Obama campaign has made a weird decision. It's going to dig that hole deeper, harder and faster.
No more Mr. Nice Guy, Obama vows. He's going to really start hitting John McCain now. He's going to make voters understand that McCain equals four more years of George Bush.

The thing that truly sickens me is that this empty-suit of a Socialist twit got as far as he has. The Democratic Party has truly shown itself to be so clueless, so jaw-droppingly stupid that they believed this idiot could continue the sham clear through November.
Sooner or later, one’s true colors come out. Most of us here on FR saw this long ago, yet despite a disgustingly fawning media kissing his ass nonstop, the rest of America outside of the ultra-left are finally seeing him for what he is....or should I say, what he isn’t.

I haven’t read his book (and don’t intend to) and good thing because the quote you shared smacks as racist. Now, if a white person says anything remotely similar about a black person, hinges come loose. But it’s okey dokey for Obama to say something like this and receive incredible adulation. ha!
Michelle Obama’s boycott of the 9/11 memorial service was a bad move on her part. You think she have at least faked compassion on 9/11 to try to help her husband get elected. But her hate for America is just too strong, it seems.
Good point. Dick Durbin pushed Zerobama’s candidacy because so many people were saying that he ought to run for president.
If you’ll recall, a lot of people were saying the same thing about Michael Steele after his 2004 RNC convention speech. Republicans were smarter, IMO, because they decided to put him up in Maryland first. By doing that, they found that he wasn’t quite ready.
He’s still a future candidate, but only when he’s ready. The Dims, OTOH, said let’s put him up now ‘cause he’s got a lot of buzz.

I’m in agreement. His ‘low’ rating is, in my opinion, largely be based on the area polled. Could be SanFran or NYC or even DC.

I’m starting to think we should call the dems the B*llsh*t party. They truly are all symbolism, no substance. And no one personifies that better than Obama.
Hillary pioneered the “hate Bush” thing, going back to his State of the Union speech in 2003. It worked to energize the base, but won’t work as the be-all-and-end-all for the fall campaign.
People want to see what you’re going to do beside criticize the last guy.
The LSM picked our candidate, one that they were sure that either Hillary or Obama could beat.
But McCain threw a counter punch that the left didn't know that he had and took them totally by surprise.
Now, Obama is on the ropes. It's the 12th and deciding round and Team McCain is throwing punches from all angles in flurries. Obama's corner (the LSM) is yelling at him to get off the ropes, throw his left hand, some low blows and move his head.
But a dazed Obama can only hear one word above the chaotic din:
