Several on FR have suggested that we help Joe the Plumber with his back taxes. I did some research and it seems he lives close to the Huntington Bank Spring Meadows Branch,
7203 Airport Highway
Holland, oh 43528-7829
Phone: (419) 254-7023
I spoke with a very nice lady there who thought I was joking about opening an account for Joe to help him with his back taxes.
What we need is for someone with a registered charity in Ohio or some registered business to open an account for Joe (real name: Samuel J. Wurzelbacher) After it is open please post the routing and account info so we can transfer money in.
We will then need to let Joe know and arrange access for him. Go Joe the Plumber the FReepers have your back.
Some clarification: He was in his OWN front yard. 0bama approached HIM.
Yes, he was where he was when he was for the very purpose that he performed, but it wasn't the will of any earthly entity that he was.
Crap!! I don’t know where to send my check and feel secure about it.
You’re as bad as the worst leftists that I’ve ever talked to.
You have no clue that there is a huge difference between charity (voluntary) and welfare (FORCED).
"Privatized welfare" is also known as "charity", and is a Good Thing when engaged in by caring people who do so voluntarily, out of the goodness of their hearts.
Jesus Christ taught that we should do so.
The IRS would swoop down on him wanting their share.
Charity to the undeserving is Welfare.
Joe is undeserving. Screw him.
Alrighty then. Tell us how you REALLY feel.
So I hear, I stand corrected.
Why not wait until our Ohio lawyer sets up an account that can be earmarked to directly pay the taxes.
They can probono an hour to get the correct info.
No, it's not. Welfare is done at the point of a gun. Charity is voluntary.
And just how is he "undeserving" if those who are voluntarily giving determine him to be deserving?
Apparently not Glenn. Welfare is forced. Charity is voluntary.
Good stuff, keep going.
This is an interesting moral and political question.
I think it might be OK to send Joe money if it can be shown that he is about to lose his home (or something equally serious) as the result of brown-shirt tactics against him.
But to help him out of his back taxes that had nothing to do with Obama or his minions, without Joe even requesting the help, seems less like charity, and more like a play to score political points.
I’ll wait to see how this shakes out a little more, first.
Joe was in his own front yard.
Obama was walking the neighborhood.
Be a little bit smarter than the lib attack dogs.
For what it’s worth.
Very little........
OK, please ping me or FReepmail me when you get that, thanx.
bump
President Obama is going to be shocked.
When he finds out that “The Underground” means ALL those bitter small-town
Americans clinging to their guns and religion (i.e., not radical Islam
or secular humanism or moral relativism)
For anyone who wishes to make a contribution to Joe the Plumber, I can accept donations sent to my personal PayPal account and will forward then to him, after depositing then into my law firm's trust account.
PayPal account donations may be sent to me at: jferron@columbus.rr.com .
Thanks,
PackerBoy aka John W.Ferron, www.ferronlaw.com

Any donations would be taxable income for him......
