In early September, I began noticing a string of news stories about scientists rejecting the orthodoxy on global warming. Actually, it was more like a string of guest columns and long letters to the editor since it is hard for skeptical scientists to get published in the cabal of climate journals now controlled by the Great Sanhedrin of the environmental movement.
"An analytical chemist who works in spectroscopy and atmospheric sensing, Michael J. Myers of Hilton Head, S. C., declared, "Man-made global warming is junk science," explaining that worldwide manmade CO2 emission each year "equals about 0.0168% of the atmosphere's CO2 concentration ... This results in a 0.00064% increase in the absorption of the sun's radiation. This is an insignificantly small number."

February 13, 2007 --- HEARING ON 'WARMING OF THE PLANET' CANCELED AFTER ICE STORM (Drudge Report )
March 1, 2007 --- Minnesota Public Radio's "Global Warming: The Home Front" scheduled for March 1 was cancelled due to insufficient global warming ("based on current travel advisories ").
March 7, 2007 --- A Congressional subcommittee meeting on Energy and Air Quality Hearing on "Climate Change: Are Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Human Activities Contributing to a Warming of the Planet?" was cancelled due to a snow advisory. "A SNOW ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING."
Recall that greenhouse hypothesis maintains that warming due to increases in the greenhouse effect is anticipated to be greatest in the winter.

Hey, Varmint, you sound like you should join my Electric Universe Ping list on FR... interested?

If you are interested, I maintain the Electric Universe Ping list on FreeRepublic that calls members to articles discussing evidence for the electrical nature of the Universe.
Makes a lot more sense than trying to believe that two dust motes are going to attract eachother via gravity from three to five miles away...
I’d be interested.
No they don't. Why don't you do some homework. There is no support for your claim on any sort of an Internet search. If you try to use your volcano argument the AGW crowd will shoot you down and discredit you.
There's enough ammunition against the Global Warming nut cases that you don't have to use stuff that isn't true. Let them do that!
I agree. The global warming greenies are laying low; they are playing close to the vest in the belief 0bama is winning. Once he is in the White House, they don’t have to sell their agenda. They know it will be forced on us.
