I’m a sportswriter for a major daily newspaper. If this sort of situation developed with some backup quarterback or point guard - on the verge of winning a starting job - suddenly missing two practices to travel several time zones away and visit an ailing grandmother he has had little time for, the sports department would go into overdrive to find out what the real story was. I believe Andy Martin filed a court order to see the birth certificate. The state must reply fast..hence Obama going to Grandmas. Reporters should camp out in front of her home and record Obamas coming and goings. Last time he went, I read he was not at Grandmas for a really long time. Unfortunately, all this should have been done months ago as it may be to late to stop “the one” from possibly being elected. Early voting (they are calling for every one to vote now where they can) has started.
