Report: “Career” U.S. Attorneys donating big to Obama
Federal Review ^ | Thursday, October 23, 2008

Republicans concerned over allegations of rampant voter fraud by left-wing group ACORN should probably not count on the U.S. Justice Department to investigate the charges.

That’s because the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics has found that ACORN ally, Democrat Presidential Candidate Barack Obama “has collected more from employees at the Department of Justice than any other executive branch agency.”

DOJ employees have turned away from Republicans and given Obama nearly three times more than they've given to McCain this cycle ($268,600 compared to $97,400…Obama's haul from Justice employees over the summer equaled what McCain has brought in from the department over 20 months of the election cycle….Justice employees might favor Obama's background as a civil rights attorney and law professor, said Karen Hult, a Virginia Tech political scientist whose research interests include the U.S. judiciary.

ACORN has been subject to numerous press accounts of improper activities, including submitting false voter registrations and improper use of charitable dollars for political purposes.

Obama has http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/17/palin-maintains-attack-obamas-ties-acorn/ significant links to the group. However, reports indicate that Obama was closely tied to the group in Chicago, helping train its workers in his role as a “community organizer” and legal advisor. And, in 2007, Obama gave a speech in which he promised that the liberal group would help shape his presidential agenda.

In 2005, President Bush asked then-attorney General Alberto Gonzales to step up efforts to investigate voter fraud, which led to charges by Democrats of the White House “politicizing” the Department of Justice and, ultimately, Gonzales’ resignation in 2007.

This is why every Republican voted into the Presidency needs to clear out the Democrat dead wood early in their administration.

President Bush and AG Gonzalez were criticized for trying to clean the Democrat traitors out of the Justice Deparment. They should have done more!

Anticipating an increasingly bloated government apparatus, with lots of jobs, perks, and pork being dumped in the feed bin.

He wasn't a "civil rights attorney," he advised thugs and other human debris in Chicago on how to game the system.  And he wasn't a "law professor," he was a lecturer who was rarely ever called to lecture.  Maybe Ms. Hult should actually do a little research.

Bush’s biggest failure was to keep himself surrounded by his enemies.

I just skimmed the links, but, I didn’t find specific cites of USA’s and AUSA’s donating to Obama-just DOJ “ employees.”
Which could be anyone from a paralegal to someone in housekeeping.
Am I missing specific references to career prosecutors donating as the title implies ?

Practically every week since he came into office eight years ago we have seen story after story like this. The CIA is full of clintonoids. The FBI is full of clintonoids. The Justice Department is full of clintonoids.

When it comes to brooming out his enemies, Bush has been an absolute idiot.

This ratio actually seems quite favorable to McCain. I expect there are numerous federal agencies where the ratio is 90%-10% in favor of Obama. And when we turn to states and municipalities, forget about it! I’d bet you’d need to get down to law enforcement agencies in Deep South states before you’d fine ANY government agency that wasn’t majority Democrat in donated dollars.

Sadly you are correct. Look at the VA employees and their AFGE union. How the hell do we allow government employees to be union? I bet all Gov employess are union now. Try to fire one. The union will cover their A$$.
