Obama Compared America to Nazi Germany

The audio recording of Barack Obama espousing his socialist philosophy of “redistribution of wealth” is all over the Internet and Fox News today (although the other media outlets are ignoring it), but there’s another disturbing section on that tape that has so far escaped notice.

At about 15:30, Obama compares what was going on in the United States during the time of Brown vs. the Board of Education to ... Nazi Germany. Yes, really. Here’s the quote:

“...just to take a, sort of a realist perspective...there’s a lot of change going on outside of the Court, um, that, that judges essentially have to take judicial notice of. I mean you’ve got World War II, you’ve got uh, uh, uh, the doctrines of Nazism, that, that we are fighting against, that start looking uncomfortably similar to what we have going on, back here at home.”

There you have it. America is close to electing a President that compares his own country to Nazi Germany.

I was just a lurker here back in 2004; however, I am surprised that these things weren’t discovered back in 2004, when Obama was running for Senate. It’s a great thing that they’re discovered today, just a shame not four years ago, as then there might not have been a Senator Obama today, much less a potential President Obama.

Yeah, I think reality is starting to settle in with a lot of liberals. I've noticed that the Obama signs are starting to disappear and I don't think they're being stolen.

It's a lot bigger issue than anyone wants to admit and it's not an issue in the sense they would like to believe. My uncle is a city employee in a very liberal Michigan city. He's a traditional Nader or Kucinich voter who jumped at the chance to vote for Obama but is beginning to fear the vicious violent racism coming from some blacks. He would be fine with socialism but has started to feel that Obama will bring something far worse.

He won't vote McCain but he seems to have decided that he won't be voting for Obama either.

But for Obama to compare racism in the USA, as terrible as it was in those days, to Nazi Germany is to obliterate all moral distinctions. Racial oppression and pervasive discrimination, horrible as they were, were NOT concentration camps and ovens for exterminating virtually all Jews in Europe. The American nation was NOT about waging an aggressive war of extermination in which so many tens of millions died.

I just don’t know.... I’d like to completely share the confidence of jveritas that this will all turn out OK on Nov. 4, but how in Hades could a far-left anti-American, anti-military, appeasement socialist like Obama even get this close???? I’m not too pessimistic yet, I still think Obama can be defeated next week, but I cannot be too confident either. If these things are sure to sink his candidacy then his prospects should have sunk long before now. Very close to 50% of the population simply doesn’t care at all about his real beliefs and background not at all.... or they’ve been propagandized to belief that there is nothing to worry about and it’s all a far-right Bogeyman being conjured up to scare people.
