What do you call a civilian “police” force that is in place when we already HAVE Police forces, national and local?

And we already HAVE a military

so, WHY do we need a NEW one??

“When it is “Broken Glass” vs “Lazy A$$”, BG wins every time”

Funny you mentioned “Broken Glass”, if you don’t crawl over it BEFORE the election you may have to AFTER the election. Just saying, when people like James Carville predict violence, be wary.

“On the night of November 9, 1938, violence against Jews broke out across the Reich. It appeared to be unplanned, set off by Germans’ anger over the assassination of a German official in Paris at the hands of a Jewish teenager. In fact, German propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels and other Nazis carefully organized the pogroms. In two days, over 1,000 synagogues were burned, 7,000 Jewish businesses were trashed and looted, dozens of Jewish people were killed, and Jewish cemeteries, hospitals, schools, and homes were looted while police and fire brigades stood by. The pogroms became known as Kristallnacht, the “Night of Broken Glass,” for the shattered glass from the store windows that littered the streets.”

I believe Mac will win - with thanks to PUMAs and Operation Chaos (which makes the pollsters think there are more registered voters in the D column than registered HEARTS in the D column.)

I’ve been wondering if the pollsters have been deliberately putting out ridiculous numbers just to discourage McCain supporters. And then, just in case their polls are all proven to be crap, they have the BRADLEY EFFECT EXCUSE!

Just imagine the MSM late on election night. They’ll be screaming RACISM the rest of the year!

Hope we have something ready to counter this and change the news cycle.

You betcha we do and she brought down the house last night at Penn State. My son said she pulled in a crowd of 7,000 at an indoor venue. Bubba headed there this afternoon. We'll see how many turn out for him.

Does anyone know what’s up in Virginia. AP is showing Obama leads 49-42 in Virginia.

Way to be a wet blanket, noob.

Since when does anyone trust an AP poll? Remember, you can't spell PRAVDA without AP.

My guess is they oversampled Dems. VA has been one of the worsts states polled this election, grossly oversampling Dems by 10-15 points. Reps outvoted Dems by 3 in 2006(a bad year for Reps) and by 4 in 2004(a good year for Reps). At worst, voter ID is tied on election day NO WAY Dems outvote Reps in VA, and we WILL win more Dems than Reps for 0bama.

And you can take that to the bank.

my son has been working the phones in VA for the past few days with very positive results. His Northern Virginia McCain office isn’t feeling worried at all. Except for some yellow dog dems...he’s had great convos with dems, who are not all that cemented to voting for Obama. His MO is to use his best NPR voice, and he always mentions the fact he is actually a registered democrat who is voting for McCain.

Anecdotally, as he is 21, and knows quite a few college kids who are Obama supporters but go to school out of state, and have “forgotten” to fill out absentee ballots. He’s not convinced Obama should rely on the youth vote.

It’s amazing to watch a 900# Moose drag a 3,000# RINO so far, isn’t it?

The McCain List.

MacMentum! MacMentum!! MacMentum!!!

McCain within 3% in Rasmussen, despite Rasmussen using an unearthly 7.2% Democrat turnout edge assumed.

I wonder if this Obama infomercial could backfire. It could be a real turnoff to people on the fence. It’s been an Obama lovefest 24/7 all year long. The fact that he needs a half hour primetime slot all to himself might not sit too well with some people.

I was at McCain campaign HQ in Miami yesterday afternoon to work the phones. We were zeroing in on absentee ballots. Getting them returned with proper postage and the "right" vote. Obama folks have these absentee lists too, even the Republicans and they've been going at them hard to get them to switch their loyalties. I'll bet I made over 100 calls in a couple of hours. 99% of the folks to whom I spoke were 100% in favor of McCain and had already mailed. Only one person indicated to me she had changed her vote and she was sweet about it.

I also got interviewed by Canadian television. LOL I was asked to give my feedback on issues pertaining to the veterans vote here in Florida. I gave that and allowed that there has been a huge under estimation of the power that the gun owners hold across the nation. NRA only has 4 or maybe 5 million members. But there are over 100 million folks who own guns and lots of them are Democrats, even screaming left wing liberals. They voted their guns in 2000 & 2004. Think they might do it again when facing the prospect of the poster boy for gun confiscation, Joe Biden? Those folks paid close attention. Too bad I'll probably never see it. The anti gun Canadian media will probably cut it from the piece. Still, I had fun. Want to feel better about this process? Go volunteer for the campaign. This weekend I'm going to be standing on a corner somewhere in South Dade and holding a sign near a major highway.

My sign will read: VETERANS AND TEACHERS FOR MCCAIN. I TRAINED FOR 15 YEARS TO FIGHT COMMUNISM AND I KNOW IT WHEN I SEE IT!!! What do you think?
