Washington Post | Wednesday, October 29, 2008; A02 | By Matthew Mosk

Full story here. Basically, he's allowing donation by use of "prepaid" credit cards, which allow people to donate anonymously and evade campaign funding limits.

The FEC is allowing the rest of the world to buy our next president.

The credit card companies certainly aren’t going to complain, as long as they are getting their 3% plus the pre-paid fee (around $10 per loading, on some of those cards).

Maybe he learned it from his past?

From How Barack Obama learned to love Israel

Obama has also been close to some prominent Arab Americans, and has received their best advice. His decisive trajectory reinforces a lesson that politically weak constituencies have learned many times: access to people with power alone does not translate into influence over policy. Money and votes, but especially money, channelled through sophisticated and coordinated networks that can "bundle" small donations into million dollar chunks are what buy influence on policy.

I just Googled “Obama” and “Voter Fraud” and came up with 1,060,000 hits. Tell you something???????? And this man would like to take the oath as President of the United States? If anyone has a chance to get near Hussein, put your wallet in your front pants pocket and hold on to it.

They evidently disabled the AVS system which checks your cc payment info, i.e. alerts the merchant (Obama campaign in this instance) if card number matches name, address, or is an out of the country bank.

Without AVS, a person could use a stolen cc multiple times, or a person could use somebody else’s name for different cc’s. Contributions could be coming from out of the country, or as you said from prepaid cards, with no traceable information.

I am convinced that President Bush is either drinking again (heavily) or actually wants Obama to win (maybe to set up Jeb for 2012, or simply to “punish” McCain).

We have corruption all over the place and, instead of sending in DoJ or the FEC to investigate he’s doing...nothing. Worse, he’s paving the way for Obamarxism with his bailout plans and subsidies to ACORN.

HE HAS LIED HIS WAY THRU THIS ELECTION. HE HAS FOUND EVERY LOOPHOLE POSSIBLE THAT HE CAN USE. HE HAS BEEN CALLED OUT ON NONE OF IT BY THE MSM. JUST THINK WHAT THIS MAN WILL DO ONCE IN POWER.

Too late to do anything now...he’s already spent it! No, really, what are the repercusions? He’s already gotten away with it and if he becomes president, it will matter even less.

Posted once before....nice to see SOMEONE in the MSM bringing up this possibly massive scandal, which would make Nixon’s cheating look like a hiccup.

One of the staff at the FEC wears his hair like Davey Jones of the Monkees. We’re doomed! They’re probably Clinton holdovers that Pres Bush kept in 2000.

This is why we keep hearing reports of people with charges to their credit cards and payments were made to the Osama campaign. They simply steal the numbers and fire off a charge for Osama. Then, the frauded person has too get the darn thing reversed on the next bill.
