Economic war between the states proposed
my brain | November 5, 2008 | hyperconservative

Posted on 11/04/2008 10:49:50 PM PST by hyperconservative

Freepers, do not be so disheartened by yesterday's election results for the Good Lord has allowed this to happen for a reason. This election was not the end of anything; it was just one major battle. And we lost but we must keep fighting in the ways we know best.

I am a capitalist living in a socialist-nanny state called Ohio, aka O-Heil-o by many of the residents. Ohio has been socialist for at least 10 years,IMO.

So, here's my idea: we wage an embargo against the socialist pig states(the Obummer states)or a boycott, if you prefer that term.

You who are living in the capitalist states stop buying goods and services produced in the crappy states and stop hiring young people who recently graduated from these bad states' colleges and universities(because they'll make awful employees anyways).

Freepers living in other countries are asked to also participate in the economic war between the states here.Buy only from the Good States of America and hire only people from these Good States.

The following information will be needed from each and every socialist state IN(but not of) America: Names of all companies headquartered there, names of all companies(small, medium and large)doing business there,(domestic and foreign alike) number of employees, union and non-union alike industry/sector, and products list

It will also be necessary to have a list of replacement goods and services, whether such goods and services are produced in the Good States of America or in good and normal countries around the globe.

I choose to fight because it is in my blood. I welcome your comments. Use Freepmail if you want privacy.

Was the operation very painful?

(You know, the brain transplant where you were the donor.)

I've been suggesting that some states will begin serious discussion about leaving the union and forming a conservative nation. Not Lee and Grant but Gandhi. This election clearly demonstrates that the United States Federal government is broken beyond repair. Every four years we split in half. Anger, frustration, stress, lack of productivity. Its all very damaging.

I'd suggest that most Americans aren't particularly angry, frustrated, or stressed over the presidential elections. Just the politically involved, such as FR posters. Most people vote in their perceived self-interest and get on with life. There will be no secession because the overwhelming majority of Americans wouldn't ever consider it - the only ones who come up with this stuff are the political partisans on either side when they lose. The liberals were doing it in 2004, now it's our turn.

The problem with this theory is that punishing those blue states will only make them vote more Democrat. When folks prosper they vote Republican.

I'll wake up and go to work in the morning but I feel like a little piece of me died last night a piece of America will die under this marxist.

I guess I was a little harsh...

But here in NM we will now be blessed with an all Dem delegation in Congress.

Can’t wait to be punished for that.

I think America has faced and overcome far greater challenges than a liberal Congress in cahoots with an inexperienced leftist in the White House. This nation and it's Constitution are built to last. Conservatives have challenges to face and work to do over the next four years but I hope and believe the GOP will recover, rejuvenate and become stronger for it.

For at least four years we've been told over and over by the MSM and others “How bad” the economy is under the Bush Presidency.

Well folks, I think what is proposed is a variation of what I've been thinking. (at least a part of me). If they want to see a “BAD economy, I'm getting ready. Get your money out of the market, use no credit, only buy what is absolutely necessary from USA companies, hire no help, make do or do without, hide your money in the mattress, produce only what you, your families and neighbors need.

The interest rates can't go much lower, the markets are already trashed because of two years of a democratic congress,....Tighten you belts and live conservatively..... sit back and see how the cities survive without the support of rural and small town folks.

Just move on down to Texas. The summers are a little warm, but otherwise you should enjoy it.

I read a prophecy some years ago that I wasn’t quite sure how to take . . .

It asserted that there would comea day when only business with a Christian in them would survive, much less prosper. And that other folks would come to Christians begging them to join them that the other folks’ businesses would survive in hard times.

We shall see. I can imagine that happening.

I just know that God will take care of those WHO TRULY LOVE HIM AND PUT HIM FIRST.

And that everyone else doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell.

Obama will blame everything on Bush for the next four years and the media will agree.

When he seeks reelection only good things will be reported.

When he wins the second term, only democrats who are seeking higher office will lightly criticize. The media will once again tell the electorate that with the mess Bush gave him eight years ago, how could anyone but him had made progress?

Oh yeah, now that Obama has been elected, lets see how many talking heads refer to him as "Obama" since they have only called President Bush "Bush".

He will be called President by them. Wait and see.

Follow the money = the media - they are the ones who reaped from all of the $$$ from this election especially from Obama, he had the most to spend. The media is a business first an most of all. The media beat Bush down and then set up the selection. To change we must first organize and then set goals.

County by county is better, thanks for the tip.It was a late night.
Don’t just boycott the media, put those f**kers out of business. Start a newspaper or newsletter or magazine, not another website or blog. Many people don’t have Internet access or don’t use it for news-purposes.

Those who voted with their bellies and their pockets should know hunger now. Hunger and uncertainty.

I like the basic gist of the idea. It needs a little fine-tuning of course, but this is no time for doing business as usual. A majority of voters has chosen a known socialist-Marxist-quasiNazi to be their Sugar Daddy in chief and the Electoral College will follow suit.

Drastic and sustained response will be necessary.

Thank you for your suggestions and have a prosperous day.

Better yet, how about a economic war against local newspapers in the blue counties of states like Ohio and Virginia and any other state that was a Bush state in 2000 and 2004.
My own county went for Obummer by a slight margin to my great shock. We’re usually a 60/40 conservative county here.
Community newsletters and newspapers need to be produced and sold—that’s the war of ideas and the economy wrapped up into one package.
Targeted action sustained over time will produce good results by 2010(midterm elections) and in 2012.

Can you imagine Obama in the White House resposible for everything that happens...... Everything for the next 100 years will be Bush’s fault. No matter what, when we go communist, it will be Bush’s fault.

"Bush's fault" might be a liberal screed for decades, but I'm suspecting Obama will be the Next Jimmy Carter. In four years, hopefully, many of the same people celebrating today will be the ones running Obama out of the White House and into the pages of history.
