Obama likely to escape campaign audit (What McCain was thinking ALERT)

The Federal Election Commission is unlikely to conduct a potentially embarrassing audit of how Barack Obama raised and spent his presidential campaign’s record-shattering windfall, despite allegations of questionable donations and accounting that had the McCain campaign crying foul.

Adding insult to injury for Republicans: The FEC is obligated to complete a rigorous audit of McCain’s campaign coffers, which will take months, if not years, and cost McCain millions of dollars to defend.

O’Bama used volunteer money so the government does not care about it. Make sense to me.

There are still laws and the Government should care about it.

NOTE TO SELF:

WHEN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT TURN AVS OFF AND GET 100 TIMES THE MONEY, WHO CARES WHERE IT COMES FROM, IF YOU WIN, NO AUDIT...

BRILLIANT

Yeah, I cannot believe that we cannot even get an audit of Obambi’s fundraising after the fact. Of course, the damage is already done, but even now we (apparently) cannot expect the effects of turning off AVS to be properly examined by a rigorous audit.

The world is getting sicker by the day.

IMHO the Republicans AND Conservative Parties had better start accepting each other or we are finished running against the Democrat Party. This election and the lack of organization has shown us that we had ALL better get our act together and fast. "Divided we fall", remember that one? None of this, my way or the highway SH!T.

McCain tried to corral Obama into accepting matching funds. What else could he do?

Oh, so the lesson to learn here is that if you get enough money from enough shady sources, and constantly lie and cover up about it, the govt. will let you go because there’s just too much volume to do a good audit. And being a DemonRat definitely helps.

But if you act in good faith and follow the rules, they’ll hound you until the day you die.

This is the exact quote I was going to comment on. It absolutely spins my head off. Justice, common sense, honesty, and moral conviction is dying. The price we will pay now and pass to our children is truly staggering. Freedom is being redefined people. Let there be no mistake about it.

I constantly marvel at how things like this can happen in our country. It’s convincing me that this is a supernatural event in our history. I mean “End Times”-type-supernatural, either the Revalations kind, or just the fall of a mighty civilization, but it’s An End either way.

McCAIN should have hit OSAMABAMA harder on that point and now he should push hard to force an audit on Obsama’s fundings

Massive election fraud with direct $$ ties to ACORN, without a doubt the most corrupt presidential campaign in history with $$ from overseas in large amounts, half of his $$ (?) was not audited (names not released) as it “small” sums.

ACORN voter fraud will probably go not prosecuted, in fact, Obama will direct federal $$ toward ARORN for the NEXT hijacking of our election process.

I’ll write my congress people and see if they even respond.

Republicans need to understand, these people are direct threats to our society, they are our biggest ENEMY, not our friends, not political counterparts.

Marxists like the president-elect will tell any lie, break any law, hurt anybody to get elected. Power is what they need to control us.

But that doesn’t erase McCains record of “reaching across the aisle” that in the end proved to be his undoing, IMHO.

That certainly didn't help nor did Obama outspending him 4 to 1 or whatever it was. But with Bush's approval ratings lower than Nixon and the $700B bailout no Republican would have won. Reagan himself would have had a hard time. The amount of luck Obama had was so incredible I'm convinced God himself elected Obama for some strange reason. No one is that lucky. Too many coincidences and disasters.

“because big money equals big corruption and his campaign reeks like Enron.”

I think it smells more like a Fannie than an Enron.

To paraphrase Ayn Rand, Let’s unite so they can cut our heads off with one chop of the ax.

It is time for conservatives to realize that the Republican party does not serve our best interests. It is time for that party to die.

"What happened to the $millions Obama got that he didn’t have time to spend? 2012?"

By then he'll be sitting on over a billion in illegal contributions.

***Bush should issue an Executive Order calling for the Audit.***

<<<He should.

But he won’t. <<<

Why bother? Obama would just issue an Executive Order negating Bush’s order, on Jan. 20th.

***embarrassing? who the hell cares if it’s embarrassing? when did anyone ever care how “embarrassing” the gazillions of investigations launched at Bush were for no good reason?
Don’t they realize what a dangerous precedent this sets, for no one to even look at where all that money came from? WHAT A FRIGGIN’ JOKE***

WELL SAID!

McCain should have done a lot of things- like hit Obama hard from day one on Wright, Ayers, ACORN, Davis and Obama’s being an accessory to mass murder by going to Kenya to campaign for the mass murdering, Islam-backed Odinga.
He didn’t.
He was too concerned with PC, and going down in history as an ‘honorable man’. The leftist MSM knew this. That’s why they crammed him down the voter’s throats as the candidate to go with.
McCain sealed the deal with, ‘He’s a decent family man that noone need fear’.

Thanks to McCain, we now have a Marxist/Muslim in the White House.
