WICHITA, KAN. -- A Wichita, Kansas preacher says he will not remove a message on his church sign that says President-Elect Barack Obama is a Muslim.
The sign is staying up despite the fact that Obama is a Christian.
The sign at Spirit One Christian Center reads, "America we have a Muslim president. This is sin against the Lord."
Obama supporters reportedly got into a shouting match with parishioners outside the church on Sunday.
Yeah....a christian for abortion?
Maybe this preacher is sick of Dr. Tiller. Tiller’s abortion clinic has the blessing of THE ONE.
I know what you are saying but this is the one thing that makes me doubt his Christianity is Michelle Obama:
He thinks he can really do anything he does. With his own power and will, he can fix it,” she said, praising Obama for creating “one of the most powerful political organizations” in history, and for the other virtues of his campaign.

Linky Thing: Obama - Live Birth Abortion
what more do you need to know about his heart before you can make the call ..
B-Rock "The Islamic Shock!" Bwahahahahahahah!
How does having a Muslim president constitute a sin against the Lord? Which commandment does this violate? Was it a sin against the Lord that the Romans ruled over Jerusalem in the time of Jesus?
I’m guessing this guy is not likley to big on Mormons either. What would he have done if Mitt Romney had won the nomination or perhaps some of of Jewish heritage?
He has the same proof that we all have. Don't you think that's enough? Do you really still belive he's a Christian? He even let it slip in his ABC interview that his faith is Muslim.
And that annoying way he says Pok-E-ston. XD
The reference in the sign is to Exodus 20:3 which says thou shalt not have any Gods before me. I assume he is saying that having a president who puts Allah ahead of God is a sin attributable to all of us as a nation and accountable as such.
The first problem with that line of reasoning is that even presidents who were Christians are often guilty of putting other gods before God. Whether its money, party, power, etc. There are many gods.
The second problem is that even if the statement is factually and theologically correct it ignores the message of grace and forgiveness of sin by the blood of Jesus. A church must make the good news evident to all. We all know we are sinners and our presidents are sinners. We don't need a neon sign to tell us this. We do however need Christians shouting to the world that we no longer are slaves to sin.
Did the one ever give an explantion of WHY he visited pok-e-ston?
“The sign is staying up despite the fact that Obama is a Christian.”
Should read; The sign is staying up despite the fact that Obama SAYS he is a Christian.
You can find blackberries amount thorns.
It's fine if the preacher wants to call Obama down on his actions and say he's not acting like a Christian or even that he is acting like a Muslim.
But last time I checked, Christians, myself included, are not a perfect people who never sin, who are absolutely correct in every doctrinal belief and who always love perfectly.
And as an example, I offer the blasting of the church for still needing milk instead of meat and Jesus finding fault with the 7 churches in Revelations.
It's possible for Obama to be a Christian and have a wrong belief about government's role with regard to abortion.
Muslims believe Obama is a Muslim, and they are right.
Christians believe Obama is a Christian, and they are right.
Muslims believe a son inherits his father's religion. Obama cannot renounce his Muslim religion (indeed, I'm not sure he has directly), without becoming an apostate who is required to be killed by any available Muslim. So, Muslims seem to be right: Obama is a Muslim. By birth.
Christians believe a person is Christian if (approximating here) he believes Jesus Christ is the savior. Obama says that he does. So, Christians seem to be right: Obama is a Christian. By belief.
I tend to fall down on the side of the latter explanation., But it is far from clear-cut. Obama's religion, whether Muslim or Christian, depends on the perspective of the person making the judgment.
LOL!
Funniest thing I’ve seen in days!
No. And we cannot ask.
The thing that made me doubt his christianity was when people were calling him the Messiah, he didn’t correct them.
Any real Christian would say, I am not the Messiah, do not worship me but the one true God.
If I remember correctly the MSM and Hollywood Libs hate Christians. Yet, they’ll stand up all day and claim their boy is one. That means they think being a Christian is better than being a muslim. And that makes liberals racists.
Exactly, the left is trying to contaminate or leaven what it means to be a Christian, just as they’ve done with what it means to be a patriot and other labels, mostly claimed by the right. That’s why when they saw what a power the Christian had been, when they couldn’t beat it, they “joined” (infiltrated) it, and began making their version Christianity into another social justice and environmetalism group. Christians are to be good stewards and help the poor, of course, but that has never been the heart of being a follower of Christ. He Himself said that the poor would always be with us, and the message of salvation in the Gospel is the message He told us to spread into all the world.Jesus preached on heaven, hell, and the eternity, and that was His concern, not the cause of man attempting to bring the Millenium to earth.
