Of course she wants gun control, this way her constituents don’t have to compete with legal gun shops on the open market.

"We don't need no stinkin' constitution."

Fine. Then she won't mind if someone hitches her fat ass to a plow and sends her out to the fields to earn her keep.

"Who really cares about it being unconstitutional? This is what's right to do, and if this means that we have to go out and have a court battle, then that's fine." --Counsilman Tonya Payne

Given that the Constitution is amendable at the pleasure of the Article V majority, what Councilman Tonya Payne is unthinkingly saying is that she is a minority faction advocating the subversion of majority will as reflected by the Constitution.

Obama believes the Constitution is flawed. Those on the far left never believed in the Constitution. That’s why we have to make a stand right now against Obama and his eligibility or we will lose our Constitution.

I just spoke with Tonya. She is denying that she said — “Who really cares about it being unconstitutional?”

She claims that a lot of things have been unconstitutional. Battles were fought and battles were won. She is claiming she just welcomes the court battle.

Actually, I am surprised that she took my call. I would be interested to know where the author got the quote.

Article I of the Pennsylvania Constitution.

Right to Bear Arms

Section 21. The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.

Yes we do. I’m wondering who the Freepers are that would be interested. I haven’t been here long enough yet (I’m a newbie) to know if we as a group are capable of getting organized in a meaningful way. I’m lacking a whole lot of Freep history here, I’m afraid.

You forgot campaign finance reform? And somehow our party picked McCain, whose own law hurt him.

That's great, Tonya. I feel the same way about people like you murdering their babies while still in the womb, and that crime is not even mentioned in the Constitution.

I wondered when they were going to get around to flat-out saying it. Saying ‘this is unconstitutional’ has become wearying to Democrat ears because it poses no threat and they go ahead and do it anyway. So they just are tired of hearing it.

There is some meaning here that Republicans and other patriotic Americans tend to miss. We tend to argue that the Democrats' proposed laws are unconstitutional, as if that will be enough just because it should be enough. The real point, which I often miss along with far too many other conservatives, is illustrated here: We need to also argue why a law violating the Constitution is a bad law. Democrats don't care about preserving, protecting, and defending the Constitution of the United Staes of America. We need to explain each and every time these laws are proposed why "children and minorities" will be hardest hit by bad laws that also happen to be unconstitutional. It helps that this is in fact true about restrictions on free speech and on the right to keep and bear arms.

Most of her type are clinging to their guns and crack pipes, hence the proposal of another unconstitutional do-nothing law that is supposed to make the fearful at ease.

In Boston there’s a City Councilman...a RAT,of course (hey, this *is* Boston we’re talking about here) who was caught on tape taking a bribe. This same filthbag, last summer, held a press conference at City Hall to show a series of clips from a *porn film* that he claimed showed US troops raping Iraqi women. And,of course, the Boston Globe featured this story in its early edition but not later ones because,I assume, they found out that the photos were fake.

Well if she thinks it is the right thing to do, then I think “the right thing for HER to do” is come over to my house, all by her little bittie self, and take my guns away from me. In fact, if she would like to try, I will send her the air line ticket.
