RT Monitoring Desk ISLAMABAD: India has threatened of dire consequences to Pakistan after Mumbai terror attacks and the coming 48 hours are very important, military sources said on Saturday.
According to the ARY report the war can not benefit any side but if India imposed war Pakistan will go to the last limit for its defence, the sources said.
In case of war no weakness will be shown at the western border, the sources added.
On the other hand President Asif Ali Zardari warned India Saturday against any over-reaction after the militant attacks in Mumbai and vowed the strictest action if Pakistani involvement was proved.
Whoever is responsible for the brutal and crude act against the Indian people and India are looking for reaction, Zardari said in an interview with Indian CNN-IBN television.
We have to rise above them and make sure ourselves, yourself and world community guard against over-reaction, he said according to an interview transcript issued by the Press Trust of India. The Indian government has blamed elements in Pakistan for the attack by Islamist militants against multiple targets in Mumbai that left nearly 200 people dead.
Zardari promised that he would take immediate and strong measures if proof was provided of Pakistani involvement.
Let me assure you that if any evidence points to any individual or any group in this part of the world, I shall take the strictest of action in the light of this evidence and in front of the world, he said.

> And dont forget BCCI.
I’ve often wondered if BCCI may have been the source of al Qaeda funding. Gotta wonder where all those millions disappeared to, ay.
Peace brothers, peace! Soon Okenyan will ascend to divinity and bring world peace. He will show us the way.
You've been following me on Saturday nights, haven't you?
India shutting down all companies within its country that have U.S. ties effectively grinding much of our customer and technical support industries to a stand still. On top of that, code being developed in India does not get delivered to U.S. companies, lines of business start backing up; down stream U.S. companies do not get what they contracted for and grind to a stand still due to no new improvements (or bug fixes).
We no longer are ramped up the way we used to be in the 90's for "support".
Wouldn't be end times fo the U.S. economically, but it would hurt for good while until the U.S. companies can re-gear and re-tool U.S. staff.
>>>>Whats wrong with my idea?<<<<<<
It’s unilateralist, doesn’t meet the World Test, and people won’t like us.
until the U.S. companies can re-gear and re-tool U.S. staff.

Obambi has promised 2.5 million new jobs in the US, they have to come from somewhere......
Ok. And if india really did do something like that in retaliation, what would that do to the indian economy?
India would be better placed to threaten Great Britain.
What good is precedent if it is based on a broken law?
I am completely convinced that elements of the Pak government, such as it is, were in this up to their eyeballs.

Unilateralist? Is that a joke? It UN LAW for crying out loud, not american law.
BCCI was expressly designed to finance the nuclear bomb project, aka “the Islamic bomb”.
There are a couple excellent books on the topic, and Congress produced a reasonably detailed (but censored) report on BCCI, unfortunately under the chairmanship of John F’n Kerry in the one and only good thing he’s ever accomplished in his entire life.
The Congressional report is floating around, easy enough to Google for it.

Sorry, forgot to add.......

When Victor Davis Hanson discusses the suicidal decision by Athens to attack Syracuse in the middle of the Peloponnesian War he says that the modern equivalent would be the United States, in the middle of the War on Terror, to decide to attack India. And yet this is exactly what you advocate.
Then you simply have no understanding of the large terrorist training camps that exist in Pakistan, under the full knowledge and protection of the government.
The only question was whether these camps were used to train and arm the terrorists in this latest attack, and given the statements from those that were captured, this question has been answered.
> There are a couple excellent books on the topic,
I’ve got one really good book on it called “The Outlaw Bank”. I must dig it out and give it another read, as it has been a while.
> BCCI was expressly designed to finance the nuclear bomb project, aka the Islamic bomb.
Yes. They were also active in arms-trading and money laundering. All of these things the precise skills that a terrorist organization like al Qaeda would find handy.
On one hand hes trying to push Bush out the door every day but on this matter hes saying basically..."Call me after 1/21/09." and I may be able to get it on my calendar.
> I am completely convinced that elements of the Pak government, such as it is, were in this up to their eyeballs.
Interesting. I’m curious to know why.
I’d have thought this to be a tad too obvious for the Pakistani government: sorta like kicking sand in the Indian government’s face, along with most of the rest of the Western world.
