Many people who were willing to turn out for Obama were unwilling to turn out for some old white dude.

update .. excerpt
With 70 percent of the precincts reporting, Chambliss captured 60 percent to Martin’s 40 percent. Chambliss’ win is a rare bright spot for Republicans in a year where they lost the White House as well as seats in the House and the Senate

Many people who were willing to turn out for Obama were unwilling to turn out for some old white dude.Yes, and the Obama fraud machine was slowed down as a resust of that, so it was a "multiplier effect."

Yes, some good news for a change. Thanks for the ping. I see on Drudge that Jeb Bush is pondering a run for the Senate.

Turnout was light throughout the state Tuesday. A spokesman for Secretary of State Karen Handel predicted between 18 and 20 percent of the state's 5.75 million registered voters would cast ballots far less than the 65 percent who voted in last month's general election.Wrong and wrong. The voting obviously will be lighter (AP makes it sound like this would be out of the ordinairy) but going by Drudge's final numbers (C-1,191,000 M-872,000) the turnout was around 35%. That is almost twice the predicted turnout and certainly impressive for a runoff a month after the general.

Says only 2 precincts left in Fulton. Wow, DeKalb has gone off to moonbat land. Hard to believe that county once sent a Republican to Congress in the modern era. All the McKinneyites infest the place now like a cancer.
