Is Sarah Palin intentionally snubbing Oprah?

The Scoop

updated 9:31 p.m. ET, Thurs., Dec. 4, 2008

Former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has basically spoken in front of most cameras put before her. So why has she yet to appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show"?

Winfrey, who won’t be hosting her own ball for President-elect Barack Obama during the inauguration but will broadcast her show from D.C. that week, hasn’t forgotten about having the governor on.

In fact, she seems surprised that Palin hasn’t come on the show yet, despite her efforts.

"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over," Winfrey told Extra. "I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta Van Susteren. She talked to Matt Lauer. She talked to Larry King, but she didn't talk to me. But maybe she'll talk to me now that she has a book deal."

She should bring her Moose shooting iron on that cow’s show and talk about shooting dumb large cows. Maybe to rub salt into Okra’s hurt, Sarah could arrange to go on the view and stick it to those single digit IQ broads. Not at all referring to Elizabeth.

Who watches her anymore?

Michelle Obama. Mrs. Jesse Jackson. Jesse Jackson's baby mama. School teachers during the half a year they are not working. Stay at home boyfriends of Barney Frank and other hollywood types. People without cable.

If Palin went on Oprah, I would lose a lot of respect for her.
Me too.

Sarah invited Oprah to her house back in March to talk to her, get to know Alaska, and Oprah said no. So now payback is a bitch isn’t it Oprah. Screw Oprah, I can’t stand her, and I can’t stand Barbara Walters, I wouldn’t pee on either of them if they were on fire. I’d just watch and laugh.

I wouldn't have any respect for Palin's intelligence if she willingly submitted to another Couric/Gibson-style "hit" interview. Why meekly allow yourself to be drawn and quartered before an already hostile TV audience? She needs to steer clear of Oprah, the View, late-night liberal "comedy" shows, Jon Stewart, Colbert and the like.

After the Tina Fey debacle she should know that being "a good sport" means being set up for ridicule and insults by your enemies. Liberals are nasty s.o.b's.

"I hope so. But I didn't want Governor Palin anywhere near SNL, either. What do I know? "

That decision was likely made for her by McCain't.

Is Sarah snubbing Oprah...YOU BETCHA!!! Sarah doesn’t need that liberal hack to get popularity. All she has to do is announce she is going somewhere and she gets 10,000 people to show up. Oprah’s ratings have dropped like the stock market since she endorsed the “messiah” She needs Sarah, Sarah doesn’t need Oprah and she knows it. Sarah knows who the creeps were during this election, she knows who treated her like crap, and she refuses to give them a second of her time. Good for her.

:-D.

Actually, it looks to me like Orca ought to show some interest in booking Dick Gregory.

I hope so too. In fact, I wish Republicans would publicly refuse to go on cbs, abc, nbc, msnbc, and cnn. I think most people don’t realize or think about how biased the media is. For example, my mom will just turn on the news. One day, I pointed out how biased they were being and only then did the lights click. It’s almost brainwashing. If the GOP PUBLICLY refused to go on those stations, they might shine a huge spotlight on media bias.

Get a clue, Oprah. She won’t be needing you to sell her book.

“There is a big female audience...”

Since you are a guy, I’ll let you in on a secret. When women make enemies, there is no going back, ever. That’s why women are very careful in their relationships with other women. Once the breech has occurred, it’s to the death. No apologies.

Men can get in a fight and play basketball a day later, or go out for a beer. Not women.

We hold grudges.

Not a bad idea. May have to make such comments myself when one says something about watching these stations and if I see them watching.

I hope someone is snubbing that arrogant lady. She made her choices during this election. I know she has so much money she won’t care, but she has lost a large audience with her “I’m Oprah and I’m black. I have never in 25 years endorsed a candidate until the black guy came along. Screw the advancement in women in politics, there’s a black guy running!”.

I know she lost me. I’ve watched her since 5th grade.

That’s right Oprah, we have ADHD and don’t remember all you’ve done and said. POS fake *ss. I guess she wants to slam her more and get more props and viewership on her back. Do me a favor O, when you figure out who you are, give a call.

cc: Same for the disgusting cows on the view.

There’s nothing like getting bashed by fellow women and getting lied on, without a stick of research due her.
